Nice product, excellent finish. May need some packing ie washers, not all doors finish flush with the door frame. May need stronger fixing screws.

Solid lock! Very nicely machined.It even comes with a tube of German made grease.

As you can see in the picture, I had to cut out a chunk of the door frame to fit the locks receiving bracket.Why is that a problem?Well, there is an Allen nut on the top to hold the sliding in, internal bracket. The problem is, if you have to recess the external mount, that you then screw in place, you can no longer get to the Allen nut because it’s directly on the top. You can’t install the internal bit first because you then couldn’t get to the screw holes!The answer would be to have the Allen nuts on the upper or lower front.I just used some double sided tape to hold it in place. It’s only to stop it sliding side to side.Otherwise this is perfect! Shame about the design flaw

Works perfectly and is ridiculously sturdy. Has already proven to keep us safe with an attempted break in where the individual didn't know there were extra locks!It was a little challenging to install and the screws supplied rounded out almost immediately, so I do recommend using your own screws & plugs.

Good and strong bolt at a great price.

I requested this out of curiosity as it seems a bit like reinventing the wheel. I can see aesthetically it looks nice to see the sliding bolt without visible screws holding it on, but as its not a simple "bolt" it needs a bit more assembly. First you need to mount the outer sleeve to the door and frame, then the inner parts slide into place and are held in place by tiny allen headed grub screws for which there is a key provided. These screws are really soft so when trying to tighten them down the allen key slips round in the screw easily.I would suggest if outdoors then mounting is made with the allen screws underneath to save corrosion between alloy sleeve and steel grub screw.I cant recommend this other than on the grounds of prettyness, it serves no more function than a usual tower bolt at half the price, so its in my opinion not good value for money.
