Polaroid Originals 9009 One Step 2 View Finder Instant i-Type Camera - Black

I purchased this as a birthday gift for my girlfriend and she is very happy with the camera. Overall the image quality is pretty good and to me the pictures genuinely look like they are from an old camera. They are a bit on the dark side especially the background of the image but you can you use certain techniques to increases the brightness of the image. I would highly recommend watching some videos on YouTube before you get started with this camera to gain a better insight on how to use it and get good quality images. You don’t want to make any mistakes especially due to the price for the sheets. Also worth noting that this camera did not come with any sheets for the pictures so if you are buying this as a gift don’t forgot to purchase them as well to avoid disappointment. Overall I would highly recommend this camera just be aware that the images are a bit dark and that it is quite expensive to take the photos.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use this camera and get the results I did with it first time round. Whilst not all of the sixteen photos I took in my first use were perfect, most of them were as good as I think they were only capable of being, given that the results cannot be like that of a digital camera. In my view, the simpler the subject, the more aesthetically attractive the photo will be; all of the photos I took with my first batch of film were of my city surroundings. Therefore, not the ideal subject but still a decent way for me to start off with testing the camera’s capacity for serious photography. All in all, I was happy. I also made sure that the camera was securely attached to the strap that was provided as without it hanging on my neck it would have been very easy to drop.

Item as describe and this is a really good price. Doesn't take amazing photos they do look like they could be from 1977 however it’s a cute vintage look. I would recommend Fujifilm instant cameras other this one the price and picture quality is way better. However the camera looks so cool that’s why I bought it.

Granted I got it about 6 years ago, as a present for my partner but we still have it and it’s still working and the pictures are lovely, once you’ve managed to get the light right. Brilliant stuff!

Had a polaroid in my childhood and using gift cards from my 30th birthday decided to treat myself to the onestep 2. Have taken 24 photos and honestly only last 4 or 5 have been good. Takes some time getting used to shooting analog in comparison to digital. Read the instruction manual for the tips as they very helpful. Simple things like shoot with the sun behind you, flash always indoors and aiming very slightly to the left of the subject you want to center. Shots involve thinking about what you are doing to get the optimum results. The 5 stars for photo quality is based on the last few shots now that I know what I am doing. If you want high resolution photos done buy this just get yourself a digital camera and the polaroid printer. This more about the instant gratification, well 15 minutes for the photo to develop. Just pop them in a pocket or bag and wait. Currently have 5 packs of color and 1 pack of black and white film sitting in the fridge that I look forward to using over the coming weeks.

I absolutely love the simple yet elegant design, it feels and looks high-quality but still very affordable and so far it's working perfectly! I think the instructions are clear and easy to follow and overall the product is very satisfactory!:) Thank you Polaroid Originals!! One critique could be the strap? ..considering the weight of the product I think it would be better if the strap was thicker or even slightly padded - despite not wanting to use the strap myself, I think it could improve the look and feel of the strap and would make sense:)

It looks excellent and works just like they used to. The picture are often appear a little over exposed but that was how they used to be, they are great fun and good for capturing an instant memory on the go.

This is a great camera as long as you know what your getting in to! Its a lot different from usuing and DSLR, if you usex to that then the veiwfinder will take getting used too. But once you do then polaroid photography is lots of fun and satisfying! The photos come out with a nice kinda vintage look to them and there photos you can keep forever! The design of, the stranger things edition is very cool. Retro looking to the max. Thumbs up from me

L'ho acquistata per sfizio ma, se all'inizio ero un po' scettico anche leggendo i vari commenti negativi sulle fotografie effettuate, mi sono ricreduto; il prodotto è ben fatto, plasticoso come ormai quasi tutti i prodotti in circolazione ma fa egregiamente il suo lavoro (vi è autoscatto e flash). Per quanto riguarda le foto finalmente ho una copia cartacea, ormai siamo abituati ad avere migliaia di foto ma a non vederle praticamente mai, con questo sistema invece c'è proprio l'idea di aver immortalato il momento nella sua vera originalità e non scegliendo lo "scatto migliore". Chi commenta dicendo che ci sono problemi con le foto è semplicemente non capace a farle; essendo un'istantanea ha bisogno delle condizioni ideali di luce ed il giusto bilanciamento distanza/obiettivo da fotografare, ma soprattutto è importante lasciare la foto appena scattata completamente al buio e non fargli prendere assolutamente luce durante la rimozione post-scatto. Unico neo è il costo elevato delle cartucce, ma con un po' di pazienza ed abilità di ricerca si trovano quelle originali a prezzi accessibili.

Es macht so viel Spaß mit der One Step 2 Polaroids zu schießen. Ich hab jedes Mal ein Lächeln im Gesicht, wenn ich die Mechanik höre und vorne das Bild herauskommt. Auch wenn dieser Spaß etwas teuer ist und die Bilder meistens nicht perfekt scharf und belichtet sind, wurde ich meine Kamera nie wieder hergeben. Die Bilder haben ihren ganz eigenen Stil. Nostalgie pur. Ich habe bis jetzt eine Kassette verschossen (8 Bilder) und mir diese danach häufiger angeguckt als jedes andere Bild auf meinem Smartphone. Zur Kamera: Ich würde die One Step 2 mit Viewfinder der Variante ohne Viewfinder bevorzugen, da hier das Sucherbild eher mit dem anschließendem Polaroidbild übereinstimmt. Der eingebaute Akku hält ewig und macht das Verwenden von i-Type- und 600 Polaroids möglich. Das Gehäuse ist super verarbeitet und fühlt sich wertig an. Was noch zu beachten ist. Die Polaroidbilder sind nicht ewig haltbar. Man sollte sie kühl lagern und, wenn in der Kamera, relativ schnell (ein bis eineinhalb Monate) verschießen. Wusste ich zu Beginn nicht, sollte man aber berücksichtigen. Alles im Allem finde ich die One Step 2 einfach super. Mit dieser Kamera macht man sich schöne Erinnerungen für die Zukunft. Jedes Polaroid ist sein Geld wert.

Takes amazing pictures and looks amazing in the living room as decor. Love it 10/10

Es hermosa, de buena calidad y la amo. Al punto que me la robaron en un viaje en Argentina (ojo gente si van al Sur) y me la tuve que volver a comprar porque me encanta. No tengo referencia de otras cámaras analógicas pero para ser la primera fue muy fácil de usar.
