Won't disappoint.
Absolutely! Here’s a sample review you can use or modify: I recently tried this cologne and was genuinely impressed. The scent is both fresh and sophisticated, with an appealing blend of upbeat and citrus notes that last throughout the day without being overpowering. Every time I wear it, I get compliments and feel more confident. No bad skin reactions. The bottle itself looks elegant on my shelf, adding a touch of class. I noticed on opening that it's package was secured to reduced the chance of any spillage or damage. Theirs a noticable weight to the glass bottle that makes it feel of quality. You also get a value for your money considering some brands go up to $100 on something of similar size. I highly recommend this fragrance to anyone looking for a signature scent that’s versatile for any occasion.

Nice for Synthetic Inspired Fragrance
Rating Victor no9 on its own merit, it is a fine fragrance. Yes, it has its flaws and should really have never been compared to Aventus, but at this point, it is what it is. For the price point (~$10), it (eventually) smells quite nice and performs alright, too, usually lasting me a 6-8 hour shift, especially in the summer. The sprayer is more like a bodyspray "mist" instead of the typical perfume "spritz" though and the stuff expires pretty quickly (only 1 year after being bottled apparently). That said, again at this price point, I can't really complain. In my opinion, there are 2 main reasons why people downrate this fragrance 1) It is not Aventus You can't really compare this to the real Aventus. Milton Lloyd does not even advertise this as a clone; it's all the aftermarket reviewers and influencers. Yes, it is of a somewhat similar profile with the citrus opening and musky/vanilla/mossy dry down. If you think a $10 synthetic fragrance can compare to a designer fragrance with quality ingredients that goes for hundreds of dollars, you are setting yourself up for massive disappointment. I sprayed Victor no9 on one wrist and put Aventus on the other. While Victor no9 does dry down to a very pleasant fragrance, it does not make me want to keep smelling my wrist with the lush/ripe pineapple like Aventus. Victor no9 can smell highly synthetic, too, especially as it dries down, which leads me to the more important point... 2) Does not smell great immediately like other perfumes This fragrance takes awhile to really settle into itself. Like over half an hour at least. It really develops and smells quite nice, but at first, the opening is incredibly citrus-y (hence the Lemon Pledge comments). Also, the mid-range as it dries down is not very appealing, I'm guessing due to the synthetic nature, and can be off-putting and even obnoxious. This was one of the first fragrances I bought (blind) off of Amazon and while I have somewhat outgrown it now in favor of more quality juices, it still holds fond memories and has delivered me many compliments. For a younger person on a budget or someone looking for something cheap you can take somewhere on the go, this would be a good option. Just don't expect miracles!

If you like the Hollister store scent this is for you!
For anyone curious about the Milton-Lloyd No. 9 Victor, I just received mine today. My immediate thought? It smells like a Hollister store! The resemblance is uncanny. This is VERY fragrant so you don’t have to use very much…. .Unless of course you intend to go full-Hollister and over-do it the way they tend to. 😬 I bought this to use as a room scent so it’s perfect for my purposes. If you're a fan of that popular clean, musky, and slightly aquatic fragrance but want a super affordable alternative, this is definitely worth trying This came nicely packaged in a frosted translucent plastic box and could work well as a gift also.

Husband loves it
Great smelling cologne.

Nothing like Aventus, but not terrible at the price.
You get what you pay for here. It's a cheap body spray style cologne (continuous spray, not puffs like normal cologne). Is it bad? No. Does it live in the same zip code as Aventus? No. Maybe it drove through one time and got closer enough to the real Aventus to pick up a note here and there, but calling it a clone is an insult to clones (and that's saying something). I wore Aventus OG yesterday so it is FRESH on my mind, and it ain't this. Side note: I'm female, and Aventus works just fine as a unisex, especially if you prefer not to smell like grandma, powder, or candy dipped in flowers. I've found most Creed products work fine for me no matter the gender of their target audience. This is slightly less unisex friendly, but not ridiculously so. I'm still giving it away, mind you. I have no idea what's up with folks who think it's Aventus. Noses flat busted? Maybe. Batch variations in the cheaper stuff? Feasible. Batch variations in Creed? Unlikely - they don't vary THIS much. Never actually smelled real Aventus? I'm not pointing fingers. Wore plenty of Aventus but it's been awhile? Could be. Confusing "Aventus" with "Aventus Cologne"? Also possible. These are two VERY different Creed products and if I ever get the chance I'm going to kick Oliver in the shins for that naming nonsense. They're as alike as any other fragrance with variants: not at all. I've never used Aventus Cologne, so it may well she'll like that one. As far as Aventus original, King of fragrance, best of the best (not really my opinion - GIT is the GOAT, and if you know, you know)? HAAAAARD no. Yes, it smells something like Irish Spring, more so than Aventus. Not offensively, but Irish Spring doesn't offend me. All that said, for the price, it'll do. It *is* far superior to Axe et. al, for not terribly much more money, so if you've got an adolescent getting done fragrance chops, this is a much better training spray. As for my adult self, dollar for dollar, Creed is still the clear winner.

The most disappointing fragrance, ever
Milton Lloyd No 9 Victor opens with a moderate projection of sweet, fruity, and woody smoky accords. The citruses included in this fragrance are evocative of bergamot, sharp, and intense. The fruity accords are evocative of pineapple. The floral notes are a faint accord. The woody notes create a combination of juniper berry and birch smoky accords, they can be described as fruity, fresh woody, slightly citrusy with a pinch of green. As the fragrance dries down, the initial citrus and fruity notes drastically drop their initial projection, leaving the woody and smoky accords lead the fragrance. The musk and vanilla are just a soft touch, without any significant participation. The oakmoss adds a forest-mossy accord that supports the woodsy notes. The most noticeable opening to dry-down changes are the sharp and intense opening fruity accords are noticeable short-live, the fragrance opens with intense fruity accords but in a matter of a minute these accords plummet dissipating almost entirely; towards the dry-down, this is a woody and oakmoss fragrance, also, the initial moderate projection drops to very low. Once, Milton Lloyd, No 9 Victor has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a no projection, skin scent, woody, and smoky fragrance with very distant and faint fruity accords. The fragrance feels faint, low-quality, cheap, disappointing, masculine, poorly blended, slightly smoky, weak, woody, and minimally pleasant. BATCH REVIEWED: 2020 (#DOM201119) WOW RATING: 1/10. Outstanding opening that lasts for less than a minute, completely unimpressive dry-down. What is impressive in this fragrance is how quickly this fragrance losses projection. DISLIKE RATING: 5/10. The dry-down is a very soft woody smoky skin scent, not offensive, but far from pleasant. UNIQUENESS: 1/10. Not unique, woody fragrances are very common. MASS APPEAL: 1/10. This is not a crowd-pleasing fragrance. PROJECTION: 0/10. None. The fragrance reaches its dry-down very fast and it becomes a skin scent. SILLAGE: 0/10. None, the fragrance is a skin scent. APPLICATION: 8 or more atomizations to improve performance. LONGEVITY: 1/10. Extremely low, not even an hour. SEASONS: Spring, summer. OCCASIONS: Formal events, outdoor gatherings, office, business casual, home. VERSATILITY: 0/10. Wearing this fragrance is similar to not wearing any fragrance at all. GENDER: Masculine, the woody, and smoky accords lean it to the masculine side. AGES: Any. RECOMMENDATION: This fragrance can be found discounted for about $12, but its performance is a shame, a disaster, absolutely disappointing. Not recommended. BLIND-BUY: No. SIMILAR: These are some examples of fragrances that feature pineapple as the main accord. Bond No 9 The Scent of Peace for Him is a great one; Dua Fragrances Poseidon's Tux is a clone house with a couple of good fragrances, this is one of them and it features strong pineapple; Creed Aventus of course; Nishane Hacivat Unisex Parfum by Nishane is a powerful pineapple fragrance; Parfums Vintage Pineapple Vintage Intense EDP is another clone house, this version of their Creed Aventus clone favors pineapple over the smoky notes; Roja Parfums Elysium Cologne Parfum Spray for Men is another niche quality pineapple, fruity and woody fragrance; Armaf Club De Nuit Intense EDT is an affordable and good Creed Aventus clone; finally and of course, Creed Aventus, Tiziana Terenzi is a pineapple, soft incense and dry wood fragrance, very good; Afnan Supremacy Silver is good a slightly sweet, pineapple, black currant, and birch (woody, smoky) fragrance. SUMMARY: A no projection, skin scent, woody, and smoky fragrance with very distant and faint fruity accords. The fragrance feels faint, low-quality, cheap, disappointing, masculine, poorly blended, slightly smoky, weak, woody, and minimally pleasant.

Wife complimented me for first time on a scent! EVER!
I bought this blindly based on reviews. I can’t believe that I sprayed it on with two spritzes on my neck after a shower and my wife, who never ever compliments me on my fragrances, walked in the door from the grocery store and commented immediate! She said it smells amazing! This is a clone cologne and she still commented on it! Expensive fragrances never seem to last on me and this one has held on all day and I love it! Smells better the longer it’s on my skin! I will definitely be purchasing again! At this price, I can afford to use it daily! UPDATE: I have had this about a week now. I went to a store AFTER the gym and I could still smell it on me. A woman stopped me in the aisle and said, “you smell really nice!” Then I have been at work and been told by SEVERAL people that I smelled awesome. This is odd as I’m 46 and have never been complimented on any scent I’ve ever worn. I am pretty blown away that a knock off scent has had such a reaction. All the reviews are absolutely true. I’m not getting any free product here for saying this stuff. I’m just a midnight shift cop trying to get by haha! When this runs out, I’ll definitely be purchasing again. At this price, I can afford to use it everyday!
