When doing double arm curls I had to bring my wrists closer together than shoulder width to ensure my hands were under the angled portion where you must hold (palms facing up). If you are an avg woman you likely wont have to do this. I am a tall woman with larger shoulders so it messes up my form for this action and made the 31lb lift feel fsr more difficult than lifting 20-lb dumbell on each arm!
