Everything is great. It’s small and cute, seems sturdy. Except for the most important thing, which is the pedal and the speed. The moment it’s turned on, it starts spinning. The pedal will only speed up the spinning process, and can’t slow it down. So now I’m stuck with this super high speed spinning wheel that it actually hurts my palm when I try to throw on the wheel. I was excited to try it out and it’s such a bummer that the pedal didn’t work. Edit to add: the seller reached out to me and offered to send a different wheel. The new wheel came, worked, and everything was great. Their customer service is also really good.

Broke after first use...

Bought this for my 14 yr old daughter, beginner, about 6 months ago and she loves it. Makes a piece every chance she gets. Haven't seen her throw more than about 3 pds at a time but she could easily do more. It's very durable and consistent. Finding the center point was a little challenge for her at first but she figured it out. Highly recommend.

First off, I'm a long time hand builder and a beginner wheel thrower. This wheel is great for a home studio if you aren't throwing a large weight of clay. The most I've thrown so far on it is 4lbs and it handled it totally fine. Super smooth shipping + minimal set up. Heads up, the wheel is incredibly short, I put 2 bricks under each leg. Easy set up. It has a slight high pitch hum once you power on, but nothing bad once you put on a podcast or music. Great little wheel .
