Looks great and really works. Spreadable butter at last!!

Love this butter bell. It keeps the butter spreadable. I put filtered water in the base. It holds just enough of the block to last before the water needs changing for a fresh fill.

This is a beautiful little pot. I try and limit processed foods and much prefer butter to alternatives, but found it difficult to spread. Enter the butter bell - it keeps the butter fresh and soft enough to use. Be sure to change the water regularly. I now have two of these so that I never run out, and have even started to make my own butter. What’s not to love!!

Love these butter bells. Only wish they were bigger as a family of 5 we are really going thru the butter, but all is good as clearing out toxic rubbish from my families diets and this is one way. Spreadable add vegetable oil or rapeseed and that’s a No No! Got my sister in law and mum to get one too.. 👍

Very very expensive for such a little thing. But it did keep the butter from melting. Only 125g will fit..

This is a lovely way to keep butter at spreadable temperature whatever the weather is hot or cold

I bought this as a friend has one. No more butter that is too cold to spread or has melted all over the counter top. It did take a few attempts before the butter stopped falling in the water, you really need to be firm when filling it up. I think this will become a regular gift for my friends. Love it

Fed up of having to throw butter out in the summer. Rock hard, unspreadable from the fridge but now no problem. Doesn't hold much. I take butter from freezer to fridge, then to my normal butter dish to soften and the to the butterball. Holds half of a UK butter bar at a time. Love it..no more waste! Also bought one for my daughter. Very pretty in green shade.

We had decided to stop using margarine but the challenge was, of course, keeping butter fresh but spreadable. I recalled reading about these butter keepers but was a bit sceptical that the butter could actually stay fresh tasting. It never hurts to try though so I ordered this L Tremain butter bell. Love the design - simple with a little flourish and the colour is perfect for my kitchen. As far as functionality goes, this is a time-tested solution and it absolutely works perfectly. We leave the butter bell on the counter even in the hottest weather and, as long as you refresh the cold water every couple of days, the butter stays fresh tasting and is soft enough to use even on fresh bread without tearing. We buy (unsalted) butter in the wrapped quarter stick format and one stick fills the crock perfectly. Very happy with this purchase.
