Old house, old heavy door. No problem.

The unit did NOT come with the 6 inches long metal track plate as was advertised. It only had the small 2.125 inch long plate which is the same as other brands. The only thing that set this unit apart was the plate length. Since it is the same short version, I recommend getting a less expensive unit from a different seller. I did not use. Was returned.

Very sturdy and the adjustable tension works well. It is small but effective.

The unit works as described, but the screws are too short and no fine adjustment if you fall in between the holes.
