Nice 9V 1.4A AC power adapter, seems to be perfect for my application
I bought this for a used NADY 256 Digital Signal Processor that I purchased which didn't include a power supply. I was expecting it would require DC and was unable to find information about the amperage requirement or polarity of the plug, despite having the user manual. Then I looked closer at the power jack and saw that it was labeled "9V AC". Aha! Polarity doesn't matter! So I looked around at various 9V AC adapters and this one included lists of DSP's it would work for. Mine was not included, but with 1.4A available I figured it should supply enough current, so I went for it, hoping the plug would fit. I guess they have a standard for the plug, it fit my DSP just fine, it works great! The plug-in module runs a little warm, not hot, and I would expect this since it is basically just a transformer. Very happy with my purchase!

YES, IT IS Compatible With DigiTech FX (9v AC)
After purchasing (and returning) one other adapter which claimed to be compatible and wasn't, I bought this to use with a DigiTech RP155 effects unit; it was on direct recommendation from Digitech Support. Received and tested with my RP155, and it works. Earlier DigiTech pedals require a 9v AC power adapter; DC adapters power up the pedal, but no sound comes out. Item is clearly labeled "9VAC 1300mA 11.3 W"; works perfectly.

Perfect Solution!
I had an immediate need for a 9VAC x 1.3A adapter to replace one that had failed and the HQRP AC unit was the ideal solution. I use it to power an old DOD FX-7 Guitar Multi-Effects processor that's rated 750ma at 9Vac and that uses a specific plug to connect to it. The HQRP AC Adapter was a perfect fit. Everything is working fine and the 9Vac output is right on the money. I de-rated the durability slightly simply because, as of this writing, I haven't had the unit very long and the cord on it seems a bit light when compared to the one on the old unit. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with this product.

No buzz great replacement
After moving multiple times I had lost the original and was looking for a good replacement. There are many reviews saying that this will "buzz" when plugged in. I plugged this into a surge protector and heard absolutely no buzz. The only complaint that I have is that the plug in that goes to the pedal is a little snug. Almost felt like it was going to push the connector into the pedal. And the main brick is a little heavy, but which ones aren't? Would be a 5 star review if not for the plug in connector.

Perfect for any Alesis unit, old or new.
Generally, Alesis OEM equipment can be Extremely Fickle. We are talking about a 1990s SR16 drum machine won't work with 2010s SR16 drum machine power supply, and vise-versa. But this power supply is like a silver bullet. Does It All. Rack gear too. Lexicon too.

THIS IS IT!! This is the replacement AC adapter we've been searching for, specifically fits and works for the DigiTech Whammy 4/WH-4, lights come on and works like new, no longer will you have to search through Reverb and eBay trying to find one (often from a seller charging $40+shipping), THIS ONE WORKS!!

You probably already know why you're here, but let me state the obvious...
I'd loaned my Digitech RP 150 to a friend who, when the pedal was returned, said the adapter was misplaced. I knew the adapter's model number, so I went off on a search for a 9 volt adapter. I joined the ranks of those asking whether it has a positive tip or negative tip. I saw some supposedly authoritative comments about negative tip, so I tried it and am grateful that I didn't fry the pedal. The correct answer is: Neither! This adapter like the original doesn't produce DC voltage, it produces AC voltage! Oh, and it works fine with my RP150.

This was perfect; it fit my RP350. I purchased my RP350 from Dubai (the power there is 240V, not like Canada's 120V). I was never able to find a good power adapter that could fit the width and length of my RP350's power input, but this adapter was a game changer. It restored life to my pedal, and now I'm able to enjoy the sound customization that I made before.
