Easy to install
This is very easy to install. The 3m tapes supplied worked fine for me and has held it up well outdoors even in the rain. The doorbell sound is nice and loud and you can choose a chime that suits you. Reliable so far.

Much better than our old one
We had our porch painted recently and this necessitated removing the old wired in doorbell which was there when we first moved into the house so it was clearly pretty old rather than fitting another wide one we felt a wireless one would be much easier. This one has some pretty cool features and sounds a lot better than our old one.I liked that it could operate over such a long distance. Our house is an old Victorian house and the walls are seriously thick so we do have problems with things like Wi-Fi so it wouldn't have surprised me if we had issues with this, but I've tested it out and no matter where we put the speaker it works perfectly. It was very simple to install which is a good job as I'm hopeless or anything to do with DIY and working just a few minutes. It comes with lots of different chimes. I can't remember exactly how many, but it doesn't and some of them sound really nice others not as much but it's all down to personal preference and what works for us in a domestic house might not work so well if you were using this in a commercial environment the volume adjustable which we found to be useful as if we in the room which we are most of the time then the volume is fine but if we're busy doing something on the top floor then it's nice to be able to give the volume a significant boost. There are also LED lights which let you know when the doorbell rings this is really useful particularly for anyone with hearing difficulties but I've also found it useful w my noise reduction headphones on.I've probably just scratched the surface as far as functionality is concerned but all in all and consider what I've already mentioned to be major things at least for us and we found it to be a improvement on our previous doorbell and would definitely recommend it.

Handy audio cue when your back door opens.
I live in a very quiet and dark cul-de-sac which, while safe enough usually, could possibly attract opportunists to have a look over your garden fence, or possibly try the back door, just in case you had left it unlocked. I'm probably too security conscious for that, but I got this chime box for that reason, just in case.Realistically, it's probably more meant to be used for shop door opening announcements when a customer comes in, or something like that, but, even with the odd-shaped frame on my back door, I got the connectors fitted up pretty easily and have it to chime the longest tune in the system if it's opened during the night. No way me or the missus couldn't wake up if that happens now.The system is wireless, and you plug the main device into any nearby mains socket (which can be a reasonable distance according to the instructions, but I have it relatively close to the sensors, but difficult to spot by a panicking burglar). The connection itself is battery operated, and probably pretty quick to disable, if an intruder thinks about it, but, by that time, I'd have been woken up and already half-way down the stairs with a crow bar.All I do at night time is switch it on at the mains and then switch it off first thing in the morning when I'm feeding the cats. In operation the device works exactly as expected. As soon as the connection and the receiving section are more than 5 cm's apart then the chimes go off.No faults with the device and it's neither intrusive, nor difficult to use.

Clearly many of these are faulty.
This is the second one we have bought for our shop and the second one that has stopped working after about 5 weeks despite trying all the manufacturer's recommended fixes. Clearly many of these are faulty.Needless to say, we won't buy another. We hardly ever write bad reviews and do this one reluctantly.

Valuable sensor high secure alarm
This sensor is such a clever product. I love that it's wireless and therfore so easy to.install. In terms of security it's meduim to high level as it's accurate for opening of doors and/or windows. I use for my windows and in terms of effective use I'd rate 5 out of 5. Allows price of mind. The noise level of the alarm when sounding is a good noise and can hear from a quute a far range. Good price for this valuable household security device.
