I have been looking to change my old analog thermostat for the smart compatible item for around the year having viewed others for a lot more money this one sprung up and I thought for 33 pounds what have I got to lose the item arrived as always with Amazon on time and the unit is perfect for my requirement easy to fit (use a single plug socket back box to cover all wiring completely) Very easy to set up with the app which is very simple to understand, ties in perfectly with Alexa for seamless voice control. "Alexa set thermostat to 18 degrees" and off you go perfect for nights when your tucked up in bed and just want a little bit more or less heating. I have lots of voice control lights TV radio curtains but this has been the best value item I have bought so far works perfectly and looks very neat and unobtrusive. Needless to say I highly recommend this Moes Wi-Fi thermostat to anyone considering upgrading their heating control system

I recently installed this smart WiFi thermostat for my underfloor heating system, and it’s been a fantastic upgrade. The fact that it doesn’t require a hub is a major plus, as it simplifies installation. This thermostat works seamlessly with both underfloor heating and gas boilers, making it versatile for different heating systems. Overall, I’m very happy with its performance and ease of use, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to modernise their home heating setup!

Cannot review as didn’t fit my requirements

When the valve is in the "On" or "Off" setting, changes to the temperature settings are stored but erased when the device is changed to a different setting, and the temperature is reset to the last setting when it was in manual. This means temperature changes get lost. Instead temperature target changes with the valve turned off or on should be maintained to the next change to manual. This is what happens on all other Tuya devices, so it is weird this does this. It breaks my set up and a lot of others, where you have scheduling but can also control the valve more directly.

I was looking for an affordable alternative to competitors like Google, Hive, etc as for what the function I wanted (control the roomstat/central heating from anywhere with my phone), it didn't make any sense to spend £120+ for this. This product has all the bells and whistles for a fraction of the cost and works exactly as intended. Easy to install and would highly recommend for any doing upgrades to their household.

This TRV is a complete redesign over the older model, which had a few drawbacks. Gone is the plastic baseplate, (one of mine split as the valve had stuck, hence the need for a new TRV head!) this one screws directly on to the standard (Screwfix etc) TRV valve base. Adapters are supplied for other bases, as before. Battery fitting is a breeze, (3 AAs now, not 2) and gone is that very fiddly battery compartment cover. This cover slides off at the push of a press-plate, revealing the battery compartment, meaning the batteries can be replaced in situ. Much better. Connecting to the ZigBee controller was a lot quicker and easier than with the old one. I use the SmartLife app and the interface for the new model is different and more intuitive than before. Also gone is the top touch control plate, which I always had problems with. This does mean that all settings are only settable via the app now, I always did do that anyway, but given the improved interface and the flakey touch panel on the old model, that's a great relief. I'm so impressed, I'm debating wether or not to say, "to hell with the expense!" and replace the other 10! ...although I might just wait until they all break... One by one... You can see which way I'm inclined can't you?

Doesn't work, doesn't connect waste

Pilote parfaitement ma chaudière. J'ai mis un boîtier contact sec entre mon récepteur radio thermostat et ma chaudière. Un peu de domotique sur Daewoo connect/tuya et les tête commandent la chaudière piece par pièces. Ainsi chaque pièces a son programme de chauffage et chauffe de manière independante. A voir les économies ! Attention a laisser 2 chauffages avec valves classiques toujours ouvertes pour éviter les commandes contradictoires et que la chaudière "pousse "contre des valves fermees. Installé depuis mai, j'ai du mettre une passerelle zigbee par étage pour ne plus avoir de deconncetion

Et bien, une fois installé dans son boîtier saillie (Legrand chez Brico Dépôt, 6 €) et une fois une alimentation 220 V trouvée, c'est parfait ! J'ai couplé ce thermostat à une ancienne chaudière gaz Elm Leblanc. Avant, j'avais un thermostat à piles… Bornes 1 et 2 pour l'alimentation électrique et bornes 6 et 7 pour le contact sec de la chaudière. Une fois l'application installée, on vous guide pour les réglages et on peut, si nécessaire, étalonner la température ambiante, et ça, c'est super. Une fois paramétré, vous pouvez le coupler avec Alexa pour piloter le thermostat à la voix, comme dans la vidéo. Pour le prix, et bien je suis très satisfait.
