It the best Coffee Carafe for keeping your Coffee hot I have ever owned. The construction is topnotch and worth the price. I prefer the button type of pump over the lever ones as people will hit the lever and break it over the button they have to push on. Easy to clean and take apart and put back together. I ran my own test and filled it up with hot coffee without worming up the Carafe with hot water. I stayed hot for 24 hours. I will tell you that it loses heat faster as the level of the coffee in it goes down. So using it all day will still leave you with a very drinkable cup of coffee.

We bought this to setup a hot beverage station for the delivery people during the winter months. I have forgotten to bring it in a few night and in the morning the water is still pipping hot even in below freezing weather! This was a great investment!

I ordered 2 of these items. One of them works fine but the other one, the lid wouldn’t stay closed. I did a return and asked for a replacement of the item. This seller sent me one that had already been returned for the same reason as the one sent back, in fact it was in worse condition. Unbelievable!

Right out if the box, my lid would not stay latched. It wasn't broken. It's just a poor design. To make it work, I had to rig the latch mechanism. I used a cable tie to get it to open a little wider. Carefully take the lid apart and install the plastic cable tie in the middle of the "spring", which will pull the 2 latches open wider. Before putting the lid back together, check the dry fit between the "rigged" latch spring and the stationary keepers where they will click in. I hope it holds for a while. I will update this post if or when it fails.
