Adds flavor
It’s hard to go back to the competition basket after using this one. Adds awesome subtle flavors.

Good basket, a little harder to clean (basically what I expected)
So like for like this basket has a higher flow rate than the standard La Spaziale basket. When I dial in the AIO, and then run the same recipe on the standard basket, the standard backet will choke out. This is beneficial for all the reasons higher flow rate can be beneficial (grinding finer for light roasts mainly). I use a full city most of the time and I find it still improves the flavor, albeit a subtle change. I get slightly better separation of flavors, a little more crispness, and also a pinch more chocolate flavor (I'm sure other's results will vary).Cleaning is less easy as micro fines will get stuck to the micromesh. It's not like it's caked up with fines or anything like that, just a few granules left over that challenge my OCD. Washing, drying, and then wiping with a lint free rag once dry mostly gets the job done (ultrasonic cleaner does nothing for these particles). It's one of the better options for the La Spaziale IMO due to its price/performance.2 week update: Flow has slowed some with use and I adjusted to a slightly courser grind than initial. I think the initial shots were better but this is still solid. Cleaning the basket is kind of a PITA. The best thing I've found so far is a wipe with a silicon sponge. Even pressurized water and ultrasonic cleaner wont get the micro-fines off the basket, but the silicon sponge works pretty well.
