This item is not working properly. This iron is not getting heated properly and neither are its points written at the proper place, which point is of cotton and which is of silk cloth. The marking of the company is not good. By the time it gets heated, it gets cut off even before that. For jeans, it is a totally useless product. It does not give good temperature to the jeans fabric, husband, this iron, then what is the use of buying it

This model my wife was gifted during her marriage in 1996 by her brother Exact price not know but around Rs 600 or 650 like that .This iron till date functioning but cord and handle broken. That's why my wife told me to order the exact model and I was astonished the same model under production and price not much changed during last 30 years.And this new iron will function till my end of my life . Thank you Phillips for your great qualitative product.

Did not like the Indian plug, had to be re-wired.

Not able to use the iron as fitted with a foreign plug. No adapter supplied as stated by seller. DO NOT ORDER THIS IRON IF YOU LIVE IN THE UK! It is illegal to supply electrical goods in the UK with a foreign plug and against Amazon rules. Have applied for a refund.

Doesn’t come with a uk three pin plug so useless. Had to buy adapter which didn’t fit so wasted money on that. My husband cut plug off and put uk one on but wiring is different colours so dangerous if you don’t know what the colours stand for

I didn't like it not a normal plug to it

I don't know if the iron is ok because the Indian plug on the iron wouldn't fit into the adapter that came with it, nor would it fit into any of the other Indian to UK adaptors that I have.
