Great Player. Beginner Friendly. Good Appearance and Function
It's perfect for newcomers and fairly experienced Vinyl enthusiasts. It's not very customizable, but it has all you need.

Great entry point for the aspiring audiophile.
I am relatively new to vinyl collecting. I did a lot of research before deciding on this specific model. I chose this model because it is the happy medium between quality and convenience. As you get into more expensive turntables, you get higher quality parts like adjustable counterweights for dialing in the arm pressure, upgradable cartridges, etc, but you lose features like automation. A lot of more expensive turntables don't even automatically stop when the record is done. I know myself well enough to know I would not be observant enough to be ready manually raise the arm the moment the record is done. This one is fully automatic and sounds great. The stylus itself can be replaced but not the cartridge that holds the stylus. This cartridge is built in, but is a high quality. Another reason I went with this model is that it has RCA jacks, not built in cables, so you can use quality rca cables. It also has a proper grounding screw to ground it to your amp or preamp to eliminate noise. It also has a built in preamp that you can turn off if you are running it into an amp that has a built in preamp (it has dedicated phono jacks) or you are running an external preamp or you can turn the built in preamp on if you are running it straight into powered speakers that don't have a preamp. Anyway, if you are just getting started on researching turntables and are looking for the middle ground between quality and convenience, this is the one for you.

GREAT starter turntable
I bought this for my 11 year old nephew who is getting into "vinyl". I wanted to get something easy to setup and use, but high-quality enough that he wouldn't want to replace it after a while. It's just a really, really nice turntable. Currently plugged into Klipsch powered speakers. Sounds amazing. The automatic start/stop is really well done.

Great sound and quality
Bought to replace a 20+ year old Sony turntable. Did lots of research and chose this one. Great decision. The turntable is good quality, nice design, great look. Easy connection to my Onkyo amplifier using the supplied RCA cables. The sound quality is very good. Some commented on an issue with skipping. I have no issues with skipping, works very well. The start button moves the needle automatically with smooth precision. Also has a manual drop arm if you want to drop the needle at any location. Nice option.

Excellent starter turntable with no real upgrade path, built-in phono preamp.
Lots of solid tech, built in phono preamp, tracking &c set at factory. (I'm a professional audio engineer) The good: rock solid, silent motor. No noise, no hum, no whine no nothing. This is no small thing! Ingenious cue damping, and automatic works well. Simple, elegant design. Looks sharp. Lid locks and works well. Tonearm tracks perfectly out of the box. Decent if vanilla cartridge The bad: no way to use a nice cartridge, which is too bad considering how great everything else is Stock stylus is only OK, a little bright, a little reedy. Slightly woolly bass. No place to store 45 adapter Matt was not perfectly round....no real biggie

Can use either Phono or line out jacks/outputs
Great turntable. Hooked it up to an old RCA STA 3900 AM/FM Stereo Receiver. It's able to handle my old vinyl records from the 1970s, 80s 90s. Grab one before the prices start going up again. I see that they are already up to $279.00. The s I understand is much better hooking it up through phono jack than lineout jacks.

Disappointing Performance
I wanted to get back into LPs after many years. This seemed like a good way to do so. When I first received the unit I was surprised at how lightweight it is and didn’t expect the main cabinet to be plastic. That is lack of research on my part. OK, what I was mostly concerned about was the sound quality. On quieter passages it sounded good. I did notice some distortion on louder portions of music, but thought maybe that is what LPs are supposed to sound like. A few weeks ago I decided to upgrade the needle (since the cartridge supports that feature). The new green needle didn’t sound any better and was skipping on virtually every record, so I returned it. Back to the original blue needle and the distortion has gotten worse, to the point of being unlistenable to me. There are no adjustments that can be made to the tonearm, and I am beyond the return period. Looks like this is headed to the garbage heap! Have ordered a Fluance RT-81 non-automatic turntable with the same Audio Technica cartridge with the green needle. It weighs more than twice as much as this model and has tracking adjustments. I hope I have a better experience with it.

Me encantó el diseño y el audio es bueno para el precio. Bien empaquetado y fácil de armar. Mejoraría los materiales un poco pues el cuerpo es plástico y daría mejor sensación un recubrimientos metálico sin embargo estoy conforme

Amazing out of the box performance even with the Blue VM95 Stylus. I will be upgrading to Red ML Stylus eventually, but the sound is great for now. With the option to swap stylus’ with any of the VM95 series in minutes is an amazing feature. The table spins at a steady speed, and the auto play/stop feature is smooth. This has a built in phono preamp, but I had the tube preamp laying around and I like the warmer tube sound, tried the built in and it sounded fantastic as well. Would purchase again, recommend this if you’re on the fence.
