The PROTMEX MINI CHAINSAW is value for money. I had quite some work to do in my garden so I place an order.Delivery was fast. It comes in a nice casing. Included are things like a pair of gloves, a small brush, a pair of protective glasses and 2 Spare chain. The reason I bought the PROTMEX brand is because they give you 2 batteries. The main unit is light weight and easy to handle.Unfortunately after a few days of using it, one of the batteries decided to stop charging. I contacted the company and in no time I received a reply. After exchanging a few mail, the company decided to send me 4 replacement batteries which was well appreciated. I must say I’ve never had any after sales service with any other company like I got from PROTMEX. The gentleman and gentlewoman I was communicating with were very polite and understanding.I highly recommend this mini chainsaw especially if you’ve got tough work to tackle in your garden.

Great little chainsaw for when it’s a small job and you don’t need the trouble of getting the petrol chainsaw with all the protective clothing.Surprisingly good at large ish branches and cutting up pallets and the like.

Brilliant saw and easy for a beginner to use. But really important to read the instructions Don't use in bad weather..or ABOVE your head. I was using it in garden and took great care as some of the roots I was attempting to remove were very thick and in awkward places. Definitely saved my energy but use with extreme care especially if it is the first time using this tool. The box is excellent . Instructions with photos very good but some of the language needs improving. Altogether an excellent small saw and can be used by beginners safely.

This is undeniably a good-looking hand chainsaw, but sadly its beauty is only skin deep.Batteries:They take around 2 hours to charge and last just 15–20 minutes at full power. The battery indicator lights seem like a good idea but offer little real insight into how much charge remains. Also, be aware that the unit is supplied with 2 × 4000 mAh batteries—not the 8000 mAh you might assume from a quick glance at the advert.Lubrication:The Amazon advert claims this chainsaw breaks from tradition and needs no lubricating oil.But this is a flaw, not a feature. Here’s why:Chainsaws require chain oil to lubricate the chain and bar while running. This is essential because it:Reduces friction: Without oil, friction between the chain and bar causes them to overheat quickly.Prevents wear and tear: Lubrication reduces premature wear on both the chain and guide bar.Improves cutting efficiency: A well-oiled chain moves smoothly and cuts more effectively, reducing strain on the motor.Dissipates heat: Chain oil helps carry heat away, keeping the tool running cooler.Without proper lubrication, the chain can seize, snap, or become dangerously dull, and the bar may warp or burn out. Most modern chainsaws include automatic oilers for this reason.Would I recommend it to a friend?Definitely not.
