It works so well
I have made 3 batches of yogurt in this so far and they turned out perfectly. First batch I used cultures for Bulgarian yogurt and whole milk. I used the setting for Greek yogurt and set the timer for 20 hours. Then strained it using the included strainer. The yogurt came out very thick and tangy just as expected. I also had plenty of whey left over that I use for baking and I add small amounts to my dog’s food. For the second batch I used 1/4 cup of plain Chobani Greek yogurt and whole milk, used the Greek yogurt setting with timer set for 18 hours. After straining the yogurt was the same consistency as the starter yogurt. Very tasty with fruit and granola. The third batch I used 1/4 cup of leftover whey from the previous batch and the same settings on the machine. This also turned out perfectly. Care must be taken when cleaning the strainer. It’s somewhat fragile. I use whole milk from a local dairy that is low heat pasteurized and non-homogenized. What I love about this yogurt maker is that it’s not required to pre-heat the milk and cool it back down. Just add a small amount of water to the chamber, mix your starter and milk of choice to the included stainless steel container, place the container in the chamber and choose your settings. Then be patient. It’s so easy and I love that there’s so many settings and the timer goes up to 24 hours.

So far so good...
I made my first batch of yogurt yesterday, so it definitely works. As much as I'm about to write here, I wonder why I didn't dock another star. I think a lot is because I feel it nitpicky - the device did its job. The only complaint I have is that the language is really bad English and hard to follow at times. Got to read them slowly. With current advancements of AI technology, there really isn't a reason to be this poorly broken English. But then, I just had Copilot try to improve this text and it butchered things about the same level so I'm guessing that's what they used to write their manual! Some notes: 1) I don't think you're supposed to use both lids at the same time, 2) The strainer is just a slight bit too far down. When extracting the whey, the bottom layer of the yogurt will likely still be touching when all's done, 3) the instructions mention nothing about heating and cooling down the milk. Everything I've read, however, says it's important to heat to 150-ish and cool back down to 100-105. I guess the TLDR for this is, you get what you pay for. It's an inexpensive unit. But it works AND it can do cheese (I've yet to try that because it seems I need cultures for that) unlike the high number of higher quality ones I see here.

Perfect for L. Reuteri yogurt
This yogurt maker is perfect for my L. Reuteri. I’ve been using it 1-2 times a week for the better part of a year and it’s the one I recommend to all my friends and I’m buying as a gift for my mom. It’s easy to use and just works perfectly.

Best purchase!
This little device had helped me make homemade yogurt every week since I purchased it over a year ago. It is very easy to use and clean.

No temp control. Gets too hot for l. Reuteri
Description states this device has temperature control. It does not. Read a couple reviews that said Natto temp was good for l. Reuteri. Checked yogurt halfway through to check temp of yogurt and it was at 117 F! 😡 This batch is ruined. The beneficial bacteria needs to ferment at a much lower temp. Sending back

Not terrible also not great.
It worked to make yogurt after a lot of guess work on time. The sticker in the front for the controls keeps coming off and the strainer ripped on the one side on the first use. I guess I’ll have to buy a better strainer. All in all, not terrible for the price, I suppose.

Love it !
Makes a good amount of yogurt. Compact, easy to use, easy to to clean. Makes very delicious Greek yogurt. Used a few times and each time yogurt came out perfect. The presets buttons and timer helps a lot where you don’t have to keep track of time. Uses simple ingredients and makes delicious yogurt.

this is only a basic yogurt maker. There is no temperature control or sieve as described. similar models are available on Amazon at half the price. Felt cheated.

Très bon rapport qualité prix, utilisation simple. Pour la culture de l.reuteri, il suffit d'utiliser le programme Natto (fonction 24h) et de le rallonger jusqu'à 36h ( touche +)

Love this yogurt maker! This has become a staple appliance in my kitchen, I use it all the time I like the fact that it makes the Greek yogurt and has the fine strainer, these features are hard to find. The yogurt tastes great. I love it so much I bought one for my Dad (88), so that he could also eat chemical and preservative free yogurt. It’s a great price too.

After two batches of yogurt completely failed I got a thermometer to check the machines water temperature. It will not heat over 40 degrees. This was a waste of milk and time.

I use this a lot. For just myself, it is the perfect size - lightweight. It is time consuming but very easy to use. Preparation time is less than 5 minutes. Makes about 3 or 4 servings. I eat a lot of yogurt so this helps me a lot. I make yogurt once or twice a week.
