Lovely mug and true to William Morris design of the strawberry their.

Lovely for a special gift. Attractive design and good quality.
As the mug comes boxed it is very suitable as a gift and at a reasonable price. The only thing is its called Portmeirion so I bought it for a friend who is going there. However, the word Portmeirion doesn't appear anywhere on the box or on the mug so i had to explain what it was called and that is why I chose it!

my son bought these for me but smashed the red one (personal favourite) so he replaced it for me. 02nd jan 2024 they are currently on sale direct from portmeirion themselves for £11.49 though. They come presented in a beautiful round cardboard box matching the colour (there are 3) of mug. Slightly larger than usual mugs but well worth the money. Good quality china mug for tea, coffee and hot chocolate lovers

Beautiful mug, but not great in the dishwasher
I bought this mug to replace one that I'd bought previously. Although they stated they are dishwasher safe, I've found that the glaze has worn off the old one, hence the replacement. It's a nice mug, but if you want to preserve it's lifespan I suggest washing by hand only.

Just Beautiful
This is an absolutely gorgeous mug. I bought it for a family member who loves anything to do with William Morris and she was just blown away by the quality. The pattern is beautiful and the porcelain feels fragile and yet sturdy at the same time. It came beautifully packaged and was well worth the money spent.
