Good idea but water cold dispenser is never cold and when I making ice the water taste like thawed ice. Definitely I can used for ice maker because the water taste bad and I can use it like water dispenser because the water is never cold

This was honestly the best thing I ever bought for my kitchen! If you don’t have the option of using your fridges water dispenser and ice-maker, this is the next best thing. For me, I have a nice Samsung fridge, but it would’ve cost too much and been too much of a hassle to install a direct plumbing line to it so I got this instead. I already get filtered water from my kitchen faucet using Hydroviv (Shark Tank), but getting the water ice cold was another problem. I found a lot of ice dispensers and I found a lot of cold and hot water dispensers, but it was hard to find one that had all three and this was the best one that I could find at a decent price point. Purchasing this allowed me to get rid of my hot water dispenser and I didn’t have to keep pictures of cold water in my fridge anymore and best of all I didn’t have to use those manual ice trays anymore because God knows my kids never refilled those trays when they used the ice 😑. The best part is you can use this manually and just plug it in and fill the water yourself or you can hook up plumbing directly to it. There’s even an option to put a water bottle like the sparkly ones on the top. I originally thought I was gonna hook up the plumbing directly to it, but my kids mostly use it for ice and it doesn’t get depleted to often so I just manually pour in filtered water from the faucet. Either way, I’m glad I have the option to set it up all 3 ways. It even has an area to write on the side like a whiteboard. If you’re looking for something with all of these, this is definitely the one to buy.

The ice maker never worked

I hate to pile on the metallic taste in the water reviews, but after a few weeks with the machine and thorough cleaning with the supplied cleaning solution, which I don't understand why I needed to since the machine is brand new, the water and mainly the ice cubes have a metallic taste. However, I will state that it does work great in having ice cold water and quickly making the ice cubes.

I don't understand the negative reviews. We LOVE it! We have 3 kids in sports. We have a kitchen fridge and garage fridge both with ice makers that can't keep up with our ice demands. So, we bought this and we FINALLY have enough ice for all our sweaty outdoor activities. A bonus is that it provides cold and hot water. I use the hot water daily for tea. Loved it so much that I bought a 2nd one for my camper. ALSO, another reason for 5-stars... The company support is VERY responsive and helpful!
