These are absolutely essential in my opinion. They are a very sturdy metal that is able to usually fit between proximal teeth and protect the adjacent surface. Using this speeds up the whole drilling process while providing protection from the bur. They seem to be an exact clone of Ultradent's product, but somewhat less expensive. They have a hole to tie floss to for aspiration prevention. They are autoclave sterilizable and last until too badly mutilated, but far better the metal be mutilated than the adjacent tooth! The small is narrow for pediatric molars, the large works for adult teeth.

These matrix bands from Windplusya are high quality and competitively priced. The bands are ultra-thin but not so thin as to not be effective. These are essential for dentistry and are an everyday use item in our practice.
