Silent, does a good job cleaning the air, and affordable price!

The unit has been running in my apartment for a week, and I'm very pleased with it so far. It's so quiet that I can't hear it unless I'm within about a foot of it. The green light on the top is unobtrusive. I'm very satisfied with the air change frequency. I have several items made by LG and I have full confidence in the brand. The price of the unit stacks up well with other major manufacturers, and the specs for particle removal are comparable or better. I'm pleased with this purchase, and I believe it's an excellent value for the price.

Did a lot of research before buying. Could not be happier with the LG PuriCare. Quiet. Perfect optional settings. Love it!

My preferred air cleaner so far. Whisper quiet. Favorite feature was the control by phone LG app. I already had the app for a TV, and this is very convenient. Control of light, stealth mode for night is good. I can check air quality on the app, even though it doesn't give fake precision like the readouts on the side of the SH**K brand... Too early to say, but initial impression is of a quality product. Packaging was good, and the advertised filter change interval is excellent. No heavy plastic smells either.

Amazing machine for anyone that has allergy with great app to track. Loved it/ quality , silent, airflow, air quality, smell.

I wanted an air purifier to place close to my solar mini split AC. Mini splits are great, but they can get clogged with dust and become ineffective. Air purifiers are a good way to keep the dust down and keep a mini split clean. Anyway I got this one on a decent sale and had no trouble just plugging it in, starting it in automatic, and forgetting about it. It makes very little noise, adjusts to the air quality (runs more when it detects a drop in air quality), and doesn’t need tending. The air in my house is already pretty good, but I do notice that when I’m cooking in the kitchen, which is the next room, the purifier kicks into higher gear. It really gets going if I’m searing, frying, etc. Once it gets the air cleaned up, it goes back to maintaining the air quality at lower fan settings on its own. Truly a set and forget tool. I’m not sure how it will do with keeping my mini split clear as they’re both new, but I’ll update when I have more information.

Let's start with the good. It is very good at air purification. The filter size is nice. It is very easy to set up with the exception of the smart app integration. That's where LG needs to do some work. In the app, it has a qr code scanner and the device has a qr code. THEY DO NOT WORK TOGETHER. This model will not be detected by the LG app no matter what I tried. I eventually got it to work by manually adding it. It was very confusing. The wifi module is a little flaky. It sometimes loses connectivity. I had a lot of issues with this when setting it up. It's improved over the last month or so though. I'm not sure if it was something LG changed or new firmware on my wifi access point. If you don't plan to use the smart features, it's fantastic. If you do plan to use them, it has some glitches.

My husband has asthma and when researching air purifiers, this one was recommended. We bought this for his home office and loved that it was quiet! It is larger than we were thinking we wanted for the home office, but we found a space for it. Loved it so much, we purchased another for the living room!
