I love Smashbox because most (if not all their products) work great. This eyeshadow compact is small but color payoff is good and compact lasts as long as other compacts. The combination of matte, shimmers is nice to create day time and night looks. The shadow has staying power, use it with the brands eye primer and your eye makeup will stay on all day and night.

Shadow colors are great & love it has a mirror. Shadows are not as big as I expected but that’s ok because everything else made me happy!

I have been a fan of smashbox since 1999 after trying it wile working at Sefora lenox mall. The quality is still amazing. This time I purchased it out of trust as i am legally blindand I am relearning how to put on my makeup with an instructor at the VA and the results have been amazing. There has been no creasing flaking or waring off affter an hour or two. Amazing product and company ! Two thumbs up for me and if toes count then I will throw them in too, LOL!

I wanted to wait until I had used this quite a few times before reviewing. I hope my review will help you decide if this is the right product for you. The size makes it a perfect travel palette - this thing is small. For me, that's a huge plus. I like to have a small eyeshadow palette just for travel that can give me a ton of looks, and the drugstore brands rarely deliver, they always seem to be missing something. This looked like a good contender! I have used Smashbox in the past but hadn't touched their products for a long time, so when I saw this available I grabbed it. I received the Cozy Vibes color story, and it's quite nice but not perfect, and I will explain why. Mattes: The mattes are mostly in the mid-tone range, nothing too light which works for me as a light-medium olive skin tone. However, the deepest color, Unbothered, is VERY warm, so when I use it to line my under eye, since it leans so reddish, it does not look right. I always want a travel palette to include a deep, neutral shade so that's a strike from me. Shimmers: The shimmers are really nice, especially Cool + Collected, what a magical shade. Antique is nice too, again even though I have a warmer skin tone, I appreciate that these colors were not too warm, closer to bronze than copper. (If you want warmer coppery colors, their Fiery Vibes palette should work!) Overall: The colors blend well but they aren't incredibly pigmented, so I had to do a lot of layering and really building to achieve anything even close to the looks shown by Smashbox. Longevity felt about average to me, shimmers did migrate a bit but nothing too crazy. I really liked this palette! But I need Unbothered to be a cooler and/or deeper shade, and I think for $39, it doesn't work hard enough, hence the 3 stars. There are some pretty decent travel palettes available in that 20-35 range that would give this a run for its money. if I were going to buy one of these, I personally would still pick this Cozy Vibes palette, since I prefer the ratio of mattes to shimmers.
