This is a more adult version of the earlier model (9.5" Portable DVD Player for Kids and Car). This much larger screen is 15.6" and the unit has many extra features. The screen swivels easily and is large enough so that more than one person can easily watch together. It can play from numerous inputs and formats, including SD cards and USB. The image and sound are superior to others I’ve tried, and I’m very impressed with the thoughtful design. It is just as simple to use as the earlier model: a child or a grandmother can easily learn to operate it. Do not hesitate to purchase this. The quality is superb: I expect it will last a long time. The customer support is very responsive, which is so rare these days!

This is a great item. Easy to use, clear picture, rotating screen. Would highly recommend. Comes with a charger & car charger, great customer service and has a 2 year warranty. My daughter got this for Christmas & was very happy.

Hunting season just ended for me and we used this DVD player nearly every evening. It worked great, the images were clear, crisp and bright, and the sound was also excellent. I think we used it 8 evenings for about 90 minutes each time. Initially we didn't have a generator and ran it 3 times solely on it's internal battery (about 4.5 hrs) and it performed flawlessly. Once I figured out which buttons to use on the remote, it was very easy to use. We are both very pleased with this unit.

Nice quality. Like size do 2 can watch. Good remote. Swivel screen clear picture. Only thing I don’t like are the instruction which are not good. Hunt & peck learning curve. It is heavy.

The battery on our (much) older portable DVD player had swollen inside the DVD player so much that it could not be removed to be replaced. The search began. Trips to local stores; in store staff wondering - "Why would you want that?"; "Have you seen this? (a product that I was not what searching for)" Hooray Amazon! The market was open! I searched and found several from which to choose and the promoted product offered the best value and a larger screen. When the player arrived, my wife exclaimed "It's too big! I could have used my laptop!" and then... she inserted her DVD to begin exercising. "I can easily see the instructions"; "It's easier to use than the old one" and "I'll keep it because I can take it on trips and play my favorite movies and exercise videos". Great quality, great playback features, great value!

This is the 3rd DVD player I've tried, and unlike the others, this actually works! It also comes with a user manuel so I don't have to look everything up online. The directions are easy to follow and make sense! The screen is big so I can see it clearly!

We had another one that was very small, expensive, and the picture was not great. It eventually failed. I started research but not expecting to find a good one, but I was very surprised. This is a excellent portable DVD Player. It actually looks like a laptop due to the large 15.6 inch screen. I instantly put it to use as my in-law was in the hospital and wanted to play something she liked instead of the standard hospital TV. I provided an image that seems more representative over the stocked image. It is very nice. The layout was very nice and covers all the selections a viewer would want to operate the player easily (image). The edge has all the connection points on the side which is convenient instead of all over the unit on many sides (see image). The unit can connect to other devices to play such as USB, SD card, and connection to monitors or tv's. This is very flexible for presentations and devices other than a DVD itself. Note the image that shows the interconnecting cables supplied for this portable DVD player (the ac charging cable is not shown as it is in use already). This portable can be used in a vehicle to entertain its riders and kids on trips. We all know that can be important. I consider this portable DVD player as top of the line for most people and can be used anywhere. It is well built and the design thoroughly thought thru from a user perspective. With the swivel top it can be directed for many people to watch. The sound is great and certainly loud enough if needed. Due to the flexibility of usage and the excellent quality, we are considering getting another for our use as well. I highly recommend this player for anyone. It is of high quality and an excellent choice. We expect to use it for many years. It also has a great warranty as well. Buy one it is excellent.

Worked for a.month then started glitching and stopping. Called. Cust.service .told us to get lens cleaner and clean with qtip. Worked for 15-30 ?min. After now it wont load or start or anything. I am sending it back and want it replaced with a higher end 17.5 inch dvd player. It should be covered under warranty. DO NOT REPLACE WITH SAME KIND PLEASE. I am going in the hospital for heart surgery in 2 weeks and need a player I can count on. Thank you. Cathy Ridenour
