Acupressure Mat and Pillow Set

I've had this mat for five years, and used it 2-4 times per month. It's still holding up great after all that usage and time. The foam insert is yellowing but is still soft and pliable.I'm 6'2" and find the coverage fine. I'm 340 pounds so my body really presses into the mat. I still find the initial few moments of laying on the mat almost unbearably painful. But push through that and something magical happens - I can feel warmth as blood rushes to the area. I can feel my muscles almost "melt," and eventually a deep "pop" as my spine finally relaxes - better than a chiropractor! I often doze off on the mat.I find the experience intense, but very therapeutic. Knowing how it works on my body makes the initial discomfort easily manageable. If you were to "fight" against the pain by getting MORE tense, it wouldn't work. You have to give yourself over to the process.Anyway - five years in and this thing still works like a charm! Great investment that I'm very happy with.

I've never bothered to leave a review for a product before now. This THING though? A heaven send. I was very skeptical of how much use I would get out of it- I've had it 3 months now and let me tell you, this thing is a game changer. I use it for any and all back aches 10/10 helps every time. Laying on it sucks, but it's so worth it.I threw my back out picking up my toddler and I thought it was game over for me for the rest of the week. Ice pack, medicine, no relief. I remember this mat- this little magical thing. So I grabbed it and laid down for 20-30 min, when I got up my spine was relaxed - it cracked & popped. And wow. I'm almost back at 100%. Never in my life has something helped so quickly with back pain. 10/10 so wonderful I actually went back through my order history to write up this review.

I can't complain, this mat does the job. I don't love the neck pillow though. The shape isn't great for me. The mat is also shorter than I was expecting, but that's my fault for not reading the dimensions.

Yes IT HURTS! And yes I highly recommended it for a next level of relaxation. I use it, preferably, after shower. Turn off the light and put on nice music. Then 20-25 minutes on this thing with my bear back. I Just leave on a legging or pants , because I'm tall and the placements of the spikes is uncomfortable for my hips/but area.Make sure you lay ABSOLUTELY still. Don't move, don't grab your phone or whatever. It hurts more! Relax..... feel the heat increasing on your back and the blood flowing through your body. The moment when you stand up, is a heavenly feeling. It doesn't take forever unfortunately, but for 5-10 minutes my chronic back /neck/headache is gone!!!! And that feels like such a relief.You have to be open minded to use this thing. If you think it's ridiculous, don't by it. I love it.

This mat definitely helps with back tension I felt more relaxed after just 10–15 minutes of lying on it. It takes a bit of getting used to since the spikes are pretty sharp at first, but once you adjust, it’s calming.The one issue I had was that it might have slightly poked or snagged my leggings (I was wearing Lululemon), so I’d be cautious with wearing anything delicate. I now only use it in older gym clothes just to be safe.Overall, it’s a decent product for muscle relief and stress, but I wish it were just a bit gentler on fabrics.

I'm a trucker and there's not a single part of my body that trucking hasn't damaged, even my hands. ESPECIALLY my hands. I come home and I'm in so much pain and so exhausted that I lay down on the couch and can barely get up until I have to leave again. This thing is AMAZING. If you're a trucker, or do any other kind of hard labor, just get one. Throw it on the couch and use it. I mean, USE the pillow to massage into your aching hands - tops and palms, press it gently into your knees or any other part of your body that hurts. Massage your head with it by pressing it gently into your whole cranium, top, sides, ears, back, forehead, even your cheeks. Put the pillow behind your neck and lay on it and FEEL the relief, and the release of tension. Press it into the bottoms (and tops) of your feet. Whatever hurts, put it there. This is something you can do for your pain when you're in too much pain to do anything for your pain.I almost didn't get one because I thought, "What can a prickly pillow covered with plastic buttons do for the kind of pain I live with?" Just get one. If you're OTR (over the road) doubly get one and bring it with you in your truck. You will be glad you spent the few bucks on it.

When I first saw this, Matt, I thought it was a torture chamber. But, I laid on it and took 10 deep breaths and it felt wonderful. The first couple of seconds is uncomfortable. Take a few deep breaths and I promise you will not even know it’s there anymore. I feel wonderful after I spend about 20 minutes being still on the map. I highly recommend this and I’m so happy I did not return it.

This mat & pillow work well for my back & neck pain. It also helps with relieving headaches. It's easy to use & easy to store
