I installed two of these in a house with a long line to the bathroom and a fairly long one to the kitchen sink. Both work fine with the Grundfos pump I used. I had earlier tried a different pump that came with plastic mixing valves like this and it was clear they were quite fragile so I prefer these. However one kept leaking. I tighten the fittings and added more teflon tape but it still leaked. I finally saw that the water was coming from the union in the valve itself. I was able to unscrew it without damage—carefully—and applied some nylok to the threads, solving the problem. I could see they’d used a little dab of some similar sealant at the factory, but not enough. Other than that I fully recommend these things.

Bought two of these hot water circulation valves for kitchen and a bathroom. Installed one in the bathroom first to test, valve did not closed even when 120F (suppose to close at 104F) water pass through valve caused tankless water heater to stay on constantly. Replaced valve with the second valve, same result. These valves are well build but no quality check. Returned both valves.Test these valves per manual, turn OFF cold water valve, open faucet to cold water only, hot water flow through faucet and water supposed to stop when water temp gets up to 104F. Water did not stop flowing even when water gets up to 120F. Wasted few hours of labor to install and remove. I should have bought the Grundfos valves.

I think the valve is very well-made. The hoses could be a little better made seem very weak, but seemed to work OK easy to kink.

Works great, seems very sturdy. Better than the plastic ones from other manufacturers. No problems since installation over 6 months ago.

Great product and works as advertised. Like the hotter 104F cutoff versus Watts. I've only had it for a few days but it seems like it should last as I've had to replace several Watts recirculating bypass valves already after three months. Would recommend but hope it last years like it should.

doesnt work. hot water leaks into cold

Water passed the check valve when checking operation. Installed per instructions and checked per instructions. The plastive valve that came with the Grundfos 595916 pump is working right now.
