I'm glad I found this whey. It has completely changed the way I look at...whey. I got it today and have had several servings already, as today's workout was quite intense and I didn't eat a whole lot. To give some history on me, I've been lifting weights for a little under three years now, and I've always gone with the commercial whey powders you find in the supermarket or at supplement stores. No problems gaining muscle, I've been able to blow up big time by force feeding myself protein of all kinds and working very hard. I've come to realize that in order to get the most out of your lifts, protein powder is an easy way to work towards that, and becomes a mainstay for any avid builder. To put it simply, this is all anyone should want in a whey protein powder, because it doesn't have anything else in it. For every 122 calories, you get 27g protein, which is a great ratio. And for $25 (the 1kg option), you get 50 servings, which is 50x27=1350g of protein. That's 54g of protein per $1 spent(!!). That's a practically unheard of value when you compare it to other whey supplements out there. The last whey I was using regularly, also in $25 amounts (I won't mention the name), which I thought was actually a pretty good deal, comparatively only yielded just under 22g per $1. And on top of that, it is higher in calories and requires way more powder to deliver the same amount of protein. Those extra calories come from all kinds of additives that are designed to make the commercial whey powders taste good...usually chocolate or vanilla, which I was never crazy about, regardless of the brand. And on top of that, those other whey protein powders are not especially easy to dissolve into liquids, yogurts, or whatever you're trying to use as the vessel for your whey. I'd always get nice big powdery clumps even after stirring the heck out of those powders. Sure those results weren't ideal, but I figured that was the way whey had to be. Wrong! This BulkSupplements whey is completely different. First is the taste. It isn't supposed to taste like anything, and it doesn't especially. To me it tastes sort of like milk or something, I actually like the flavor. It's subtle and is not at all sweet or sickening like those other much more artificial and commercial whey options. And secondly, it's white, fluffy, and filled with protein and only protein. That means it dissolves very easily, and gives a great protein to powder ratio. So you won't be dealing with some thick, over-filling, clumpy protein shake that forces you to have some weird artificially flavored and sweetened desert drink any time you want your whey. To me this BulkSupplements whey is a great option and indeed probably the absolute best option for people who understand that to build muscle, you need lots of protein...and that commercial whey powders are overpriced and loaded with unappetizing and unnecessary extras. Hey, if you are totally into the taste and price of those name-brand gimmick supplements, avoid this great whey powder. But if you're like me, you'll love this stuff, especially because you can actually get it delivered same-day with something like $35 spent. To me this is something to be really excited about that will make a big, positive change in how I get my much-needed protein!

As far as the description of the product and past products I have received from BS, they work as expected and the purity is as good as how my body deals with it, which is also good so far. I have purchased many different supplements as I make my own pre workout. So far I have created the best pre workout I have ever had, and I have about 20 years experience using supplements. So I know the supplement I buy work as they should. I wish I had a lab in my kitchen where I can test the purity of all these products considering the supplement world is so chaotic and dollar driven. Like many of you, I do not trust China products or anything they lay their hands on, but you can only get so far with that. Which leaves me only with the trust of the company's integrity. I have to trust that they test their products, and I understand some issues may fall through the cracks and reach consumers..that's business. But as far as a company to consistently stay on top of their products so to protect their consumers, I trust them so far. The whey tastes clean, I'm lactose intolerant and only experience very light if any bloating and inflation when taking this product. Remember it is only 90 percent isolate, so 10% has a percentage of lactose which falls inline with the amount of irritation I feel, which is not much. I continue to take it because it gives me better results than plant based protein with less bloating believe it or not.

I never appreciated protein powders that are loaded with dangerous artificial sweeteners and flavors. Being a health conscious person, I wanted something that is pure and clean, so I thought I'd try this brand. The first disappointment when opening the bag was not finding a scoop ! Anyway, because I had scoops from other whey products it wasn't a big problem. However, the powder is not easily measured in a scoop because of the fluidity of the powder, so better weigh the serving on a scale. The taste and smell are slightly unappealing, but the powder mixes very well, in fact much better than other powders I tried lately. Bottom line. Whey protein does not have to taste good, whats important is the protein content. Flavor can be enhanced naturally by mixing with milk and adding cocoa and sugar. To me, a few calories more is better than a low calorie shake filled with dangerous artificial sweeteners. I recommend this product to everyone, and I'm planning on using it again.

I bought 5KG, which arrived in 5 1KG zipper lock bags. Others noted that the bag is tough to zip closed and I agree, but it worked after cleaned the zipper channels out. I wish I had thrown out just the crap protein powder I had and reused the large container to transfer BulkSupplements from the bag. True there is no scoop in the bag but no big deal, I use a kitchen measuring cup: 1/3 cup is about 34g. Mixes well with water or milk, tastes OK plain but I use a teaspoon of cocoa and pure stevia - delicious, and benefit of chocolate with no carbs! I have been using sports supplements for 25 years, this is better quality than anything I have used before. Whey isolate cheaper per gram than big-name whey powder, no additives, fillers or "proprietary" blends. This is my first purchase of BulkSupplements and I am pleased with quality and price, will buy again. In this same order, I bought other BulkSupplements with similar quality at a low price. I will buy BulkSupplements again, next time may try the hydrolyzed whey.

This is our second order of the same product. It's one of those things that's difficult to compare so you have to trust the source most of all. I've ordered many products from these guys and haven't actually ever been disappointed by any product I've received. I've been buying from them for years and this protein is just another example of quality from a trusted source.
