There's only one seriously treacherous, frightening, and dangerous area we have to deal with on a regular basis, but every time, this offers the possibility of injury and/or hospitalization. The driveway slope is worse to deal with than you'd imagine just by looking, and these little mats did stop the slipping action. They can't stop the ladder tipping while getting up and down from shifting weight distribution, but at least the ladder was not sliding down at the same time. They definitely did the job they were designed to do.

I wish I had known about these years ago. The driveway around my house slopes so trying to use a ladder before to paint it, wash windows, change outdoors light fittings was really precarious and frankly dangerous, so much so that many of the jobs that needed doing over the years have been left undone. But, no longer, this product really does work superbly. It's very grippy and provides a secure levelling up for my ladder, meaning I can now use it all around the house in confidence. Highly recommended
