Good portable AC unit for a good price from a good seller. But you should read my review
It's fairly compact but pretty powerful. Had it a week so far and it seems to work pretty well. It was easy to install and set up, especially since it was replacing an old one that was set up the same way. Now, one thing that I will note...if you live in a humid region or have a basement that is humid, or both, like I do, make sure you have a good size bucket or container for the water runoff and check it often, about every hour or so. When I ran it the first time I had it draining into a half gallon container and it was full to the top every hour for as long as I ran it. It overflowed the first time because I didn't realize it would fill up so fast, so I used a larger 1 gallon container. But like I said I live in a humid region and have an unfinished basement that gets pretty humid. So, keep that in mind when you're setting it up. I'm sure that's not an issue in an arid region with no basement. But, if you're in similar conditions to me, if you're using the internal drain pan it'll likely keep alarming and shutting down rather frequently. On the other hand, if you use the external drain hose like I have, you'll need to check your drain container periodically, how often depends on humidity factors and how big your bucket or container is, but to avoid any overflow issues I would recommend checking it within 1 hour of run time after initial set-up.Then, simply adjust how often you check it as needed. Naturally, less water will come out as it pulls the humidity out of the air. But be vigilant after initial set-up because it can produce a lot of water at first until it normalizes the humidity in your house, so depending on your particular humidity levels and factors, you may have to babysit it for that first day.Be aware, be prepared, be responsible, and then simply adjust according to your own particular circumstances.DON'T SET IT UP INITIALLY WITH THE EXTERNAL DRAIN HOSE TO A CONTAINER AND THEN LEAVE IT UNATTENDED FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD, AS IT COULD OVERFLOW AND CAUSE WATER DAMAGEThe best case scenario would be if you could run the external drain hose outside or to some sort of drain, if that's an option that you have. I couldn't do that in my case, hence, I use a jug. That said, it's a nice powerful unit that cools pretty much my whole house pretty well, does a very good job dehumidifying as it cools, was easy to install, and is actually smaller than my old one that was only 9000 BTUs.I would recommend this product and this seller as well. A good product for a good price. Shipping was efficient with no damage, even despite the glitch in the tracking info caused by the recent IT failure thanks to the CrowdStrike debacle, it still arrived on time as scheduled.Overall, I'm very satisfied. If you purchase one from this seller, I think you probably would be too.

Works great!
We took a chance on this on a flash deal when there were only a few reviews, and I'm glad we did. We bought this to replace an older (10+ years old) unit that started to malfunction. This unit is smaller in size compared to our previous one, yet it seems to use more electricity. (I guess we shouldn't have assumed a newer unit would be more efficient.) We're using it in a 15'x17' room with doorways open to two other rooms. It cools the main room effectively, even in 90 degree outdoor temps. It doesn't do much for the other two rooms (didn't expect it to), but every little bit helps. We used it all summer with no issues. We built a wooden stand for it so that we could modify the set up to drain the water outside through the window. (We drilled a hole in the plastic piece next to the exhaust and ran the tubing from the back of the unit, through the hole, and out the window.)

Had some issues but overall pleased
Works as expected. Helps keep the temps down on the hot humid days. I just have the drain hose going into a 5 gallon bucket and it can run for a few days before needing drained. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase*Update*Had it now for less than 90 days and it runs for about 2 minutes and shuts off saying water is full. I have the continuous drain hooked up and running into a bucket and it's definitely not full. Uncapped the lower drain and for about a half cup of water. Restarted unit ran for about 3 minutes and shuts off saying water is full. Contacted seller asking for technical assistance (not asking to return, asking for assistance) they replied with "the 30 day return window had passed." Contacted again and asked for help not for a return and they said "30 return window passed, 90 manufacturer warranty has expired." Well, I agree 30 day return window passed but I ordered it 82 days ago and it was delivered 78 days ago plus the card with it said 12 month warranty. Seller "woot" is zero help and can't do math. Emailed manufacturer and after a few back and forth emails as well as a shower video of the issue, a free replacement was sent to me. It's October now so I don't need it but the fact that they sent me a replacement makes me quite happy.

Does NOT cool very well at all for a 12000 btu portable ac
I bought a 12000 btu coolblus portable unit & this one looks more like the lowest model (8000 btu). The hose didn’t fit well and it had not cooled down my bedroom. I bought 3 different brands this year for 3 different rooms and this is by far the worst ac unit I have purchased! It has cooled the room by MAYBE 5° at most. Total waste of hundreds of dollars!!! Do NOT buy this!!!UPDATE: I was sent the 8500 btu model which is why it is not helping to cool my room. I’m waiting to hear from the seller regarding sending me the correct unit and sending this one back. Will update with outcomeUPDATE: the seller never helped me with this matter I have now had to call Amazon 4 times and still don’t have the product I paid for. Don’t trust this place AT ALL!!!!! I don’t like paying over $300 for nothing at all!!!!! BEWARE PEOPLE!!!!UPDATE: I GOT SCREWED! DO NOT TRUST THiS PLACE!!

Great AC
Our AC died. I have cancer and needed to keep at least 1 room comfortable. It DOES run up your electric bill. But for a room, it's worth it.

Loud
Had fair warning up front that this was a noisy unit, from other posts. But still, it IS a noisy unit! However that said the assumption I made was that, like any other AC I've ever seen, it cycles off and on to moderate the temperature in the room. This Coolblus 12000 does NOT. When you start it, it runs until you turn it off. There was no information in the manual about it cycling to control temp. Just that it cools. So yes, it cools but you cannot leave it on while you're gone or overnight. No, I do not plan to keep it another season.
