This is a great value for what you get. With the metal side up the drain fit very nicely in the receptacle, but when flipping it over to use the tile-in side up I just couldn't get it to fit right. Also the edges to the dish part were very sharp. Probably not an issue if you get your tile above them but made me hesitant. The edges of the outside visible drain receptacle showed a bit of wave from the manufacturing process, which most probably wouldn't notice or care about but it bugged me. Overall, I ended up going with Oatey one instead, I've spent a ton of time and money on my shower and this would have driven me crazy every time I looked down at it.

This is a great performing drain removing the water with ease. It is quality heavy metal with a high end look. I like that it doesn't have the typical little drain holes and we all like it's sleekness and functionality. The installation went perfectly in our DIY custom tile shower as it came with all the necessary attachments to tie it into the shower pan as required for a leak proof project. Heavy duty industrial weight with flawless performance. Would buy again for this custom shower and highly recommend as a great value for a major set of pieces, all smiles here.

First impressions are great. This gives you the flexibility of installing it with a tile in the center for a minimal and clean look where you only get a small reveal and stainless trim lines around the drainage perimeter (probably how this will get installed). Judging by the instructions, this should be easy and straight forward to install, so please note that my ratings in that regard are based on expectations only as I have not installed it yet (sourcing materials in preparation for a major renovation to happen next year). I will adjust my review accordingly if things change.

We installed this drain in our new bath remodel. Our contractor was able to attach it to the rough in 2inch standard shower pvc inlet. The tile is laid after and towards the end you put the drain before grouting. It’s great. Looks much better than the mesh ones. It also has a small hidden strainer to catch hair and debris to keep the drain pipes clog free. Very functional!

I got the drain for my bathroom floor and it is beautiful, stylish and modern. The material is so pretty. I am very happy with my purchase, and I highly recommend it to anyone. It is worth every penny.
