Upgraded Lifetime Appliance Silver Microwave Oven Door Handle Compatible with Samsung ME16K3000AS, SMH1611SE, DE94-02409C Microwaves 12-1/8"

This is the 2nd replacement handle I've put on my Samsung microwave and this one is great. Previously I ordered the OEM replacement and it simply didn't fit correctly. There was no way to get the handle to be fully tightened at both the top and bottom and it wiggled every time someone opened the door. Not a problem with this one - it fit perfectly and instead of 30 minutes struggling to get a good fit, this was on snuggly in 2 minutes. As some people have said, it is a slightly different color than the original handle. I doubt anyone else will notice though - it looks perfectly fine installed.

The quality and fit of the handle are perfect, just as good as the original. Price is great. The only issue I encountered was that the original Samsung screw was too tight in one of the screw holes. Being afraid of cracking the plastic trying to force the screw in and having to buy another one, I opted for a slightly smaller size screw that went in easier. It's holding fine and the owner is thrilled to have the repair be so easy and inexpensive. She was going to buy a new microwave!

Easy to install but needs closer color match with stainless steel (as original handle). I was able to use old screws but they were little hard to screw into this handle but I can't complain much because at lest this is an inexpensive replacement. I just installed it yesterday therefore can't tell about the durability. I think manufacturer should try to match color more closer to the stainless steel. They should also consider providing proper screws since larger screws may cause undue pressure and crack the handle where you insert them. I guess that may be the weakest point for original handle and this handle. Over all I am happy that I found a handle which worked and was not expensive.

Product was as described and shipped quickly. However, does not come with any installation hardware (such as screws), so you'll need to save your existing screws to mount it on the door. Also, the screw holes seemed a bit tight, so take caution when installing and do not over-tighten or misalign the screws or you could crack the plastic and be stuck with another broken door handle. Last thing of note, since this is not an official Samsung replacement handle (just an OEM replacement part), it seems to be made of a lighter weight plastic and it feels hollow rather than dense like the original handle. Regardless, it gets the job done and seems to be a decent replacement for the money and time spent.

A tenant moved out and had broken the microwave handle off & tried to superglue it back on (hoping I wouldn’t notice I guess). I barely touched it & it fell off in my hand prompting me to find this replacement. The others I found were very expensive & since it’s likely to happen again, I opted for this light weight plastic one. It was easy to install (watched YouTube) & looks nice with my stainless microwave. Would buy again.

For the money it's a good replacement, but it's definitely a step down in quality from the manufacturer's. It fits fine and was relatively easy to install (the microwave design made it more difficult than it should be, not this product's fault). My only complaint is that is does feel cheap when you grab it. You can tell it's cheap plastic and feel it flex in your hand. If you appreciate quality and use your microwave a lot you might want to find a factory replacement.

It didn’t come with any screws so make sure you don’t loose any when your original broke. Great value. I wish Samsung would have just made metal ones from the get go to avoid this problem.

This was as good as the original on my Samsung OTR, but that isn't saying much as anyone who is looking for one knows. I saved my original screws which were too snug. Thanks to the other reviews I took my time to prevent cracking and worked the screw back and forth in the screw hole heating up the screw from the friction. After a few minutes of advancing each hot screw in a little at a time I THEN backed out the screws and installed them through the door. It fit perfectly with no slack and no cracks. Samsung wanted over 3x the money and at least 10 days shipping.

Although we had the Model number of our Samsung Microwave, we did not have the part number of the handle itself. After running a search on the Amazon web site using the model number, we were given more than one handle to choose from. We ordered a handle from the selection offered, but upon arrival we discovered that although the handle had the exact dimensions as the old handle, the screw hole were off by 1/2 inch. We contacted Lifetime Appliance & they identified the problem & provided us with the correct handle part number. They were able to provide us with the correct handle & work out a suitable financial arrangement to resolve the situation. I would recommend contacting Lifetime Appliance before ordering to ensure you purchase the correct part to avoid errors from occurring in the first place. The new handle fits perfectly. We are very pleased the new part ordered.

Took a while to arrive but it was a perfect fit for our Microwave model SMH1611SE/XAC. Good quality and perfecr color match.

Worked as expected to replace the broken handle on our microwave. Doesn't come with the screws so keep those from original handle or quick trip to hardware store. Color and fit was perfect, plastic seems a bit thin but so far its worked for a month or so with no issues. The original handle broke after only a year so I hope this one lasts that long as well.

Replacement handle worked out perfectly and was half the price microwave manufacturer was charging.

Vey cheaply made, "plastic" not metal like the original.
