This is a really solid kit, especially for the price. Upon opening the box, I gave the machine a thorough inspection. It has a good, substantial weight to it without being too heavy, and the build quality feels reliable. The grip is a comfortable size for my hand. Everything listed in the description was included and was packaged securely. The main feature, the adjustable stroke, works exactly as advertised. The adjustment knob clicks firmly into place for each of the 7 settings, so there's no guesswork or drift. I’ve used it for lining on shorter strokes and for some shading on the longer ones, and the machine handles the transition smoothly and confidently. In use, the Mcore motor is impressively quiet and has very little vibration, which makes a big difference during longer sessions. It pushes needles without getting bogged down or losing consistency. The battery life is as expected, and having the second battery ready to swap out is a major convenience. I haven't had to stop working to wait for a charge yet, but it's nice that the RCA adapter is included as a backup. The needles and ink that come with the kit are perfectly fine for practice and getting a feel for things right away. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the performance and versatility.

The Dragonhawk tattoo pen works great. Made with quality materials. Easy set up and easy to use. Would be good for beginners. I was very pleased with this product.

This machine has been wonderful as a beginner that is learning. I like that I can adjust the stroke, so I can practice all kinds of styles with one machine. The battery life is awesome, and I like that the light around the machine changes as the battery is low so I can clearly tell when it is time to change out the battery. It comes with an extra battery which is so convenient, I do not have to stop and wait. The machine itself is sleek but has a decent amount of weight to it. I really like the little practice skin that is included (the mushroom and trippy smiley face are on the skin that came with the kit), it is good quality amongst some of the fake skins that I have used. I really enjoyed using the 3RL that came with kit, however, I only used them on fake skins. I cannot say how they are to use on real skin to tattoo with. Overall, I’m very happy that I got this machine/kit. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like tattooing and didn’t want to invest in an expensive machine right away, plus this kit came with everything I needed to just try it out and see how I felt about it.

I would recommend this gun 10000000000 times! I absolutely love it’ iv been tattooing for 6 years and love this gun! It’s quiet, light, easy set up! For every penny without the shadow of a doubt!

Bought this machine impulsively, which I don’t typically do, but I’m very glad I did. I wanted a machine I could change the stroke on that didn’t break the bank. This one had good reviews so I gave it a shot. Hits hard enough. Feels good in hand. Long battery life. Overall it’s a solid machine, especially for the price. It’s comparable to my expensive machines. How long will it last? That’s still up for debate. As of now though, I definitely recommend this machine if you’re in the market for a decent low priced one or perhaps just need a back up and don’t want to spend too much.

I have nothing to compare to, i have zero training. This was super easy to start up out of box. I made use out of the included fake skin which is super helpful in figuring out how to get started. The needles included are fine line needles but are enough to get started in practicing straight lines. Ordered additional needles. Everything included is enough to get you started messing around. battery came fully charged, i played for a couple hours and only used about 20%. Instructions/packing list not included or not very helpful, I had to look up online what the smaller piece is (adapter to connect to external power source). I dont see how this would not be a good starter rig, until you can afford a "more professional" rig. Again, i have zero experience or training.

Great tattoo pen for beginners definitely worth it

Works great! It's gotten me very far in my progress and the battery lasts a long time, it come with 2. I have never ran out of power and longest sessions was 4 hours of color packing my leg. I'm not a professional, but I like tattooing myself for practice and this thing is perfect for me as it is cordless and I have to do yoga to reach some of the spots. Also have done some work on family and friends and they're happy with it. It's pretty easy going on the skin if you know how to set depth, and with nicer cartridges the ink flows great! Batteries charge quick too.
