3-in-1 Rotary Paper Trimmer AN22041

I bought this paper cutter and had an issue with it cutting. Not only did the seller respond and send me a video of how to use it, they also sent a replacement which works really great. Awesome all around.

I use it for projects for work and creating homemade cards!

Perfect for a home office I love the product, it's the best paper trimmer I found to date after trying 3 others that will actually cut a straight line. The action of inserting a cartridge, flipping a bar up, inserting the paper, putting the bar down, and pushing the button down while moving across the paper is very satisfying. The mat is nicely non slip and has all the measurements you could want. The pads on the bottom of the whole thing also do a good job. Everything except the bar is plastic so it doesn't feel indestructible, but at least it makes it light. Though the product page says it goes up to 5 pages, it kind of struggles and 4 is safer bet. The other two blade options produce very clean results and the perforations can be used to fold or tear apart. So far, this product has restored (most of) my sanity. I like that the guard rail comes down over the paper to help hold it in place.etc. But it is already 10 times better than the paper slicer. Really excited to have this. If you craft, you'll know what I mean. Really excited to have this.

Second cutter I’ve order. Cuts great and is very sharp but not straight.

I've wanted a rotary paper cutter for along while, ever since my high school photography days, when there was one in the darkroom. (Rotary cutters don't fold over the cut at all, even for thin slices.) I was very pleased when I had an opportunity to get this one, and really hoped it would be a good product. And it is! The construction is pretty sturdy for a mostly plastic item in the $40 range and not a metal one in the $100+ range. The 12" capacity is plenty for even A4 paper the long way, though it does say 15 sheets, which is off by a factor of 3. This is more for precise cuts, like you might want for scrapbooking. I especially like that the cartridge blade can be swapped out for a wavy line and a perforated cut. The perforated cut does actually tear well if you pre-crease it. I don't know if replacement cartridges are available, but sharpening the current ones doesn't seem feasible, so you know it has a built in shelf life. However, overall this seems like it is worth the money, particularly for light to medium hobby use.

What’s the point of all the great features if it does not perform the main job? There’s a lot to like about this: the size, the integrated blade storage, comes with three different blades- but that’s where it ends. Because it does not cut straight (see video and pics). What happens is that it does not clamp down the paper enough so over the last inches it shifts it and leads to a crooked cut. Really sorry because I needed an affordable good cutter. This one is affordable but not good enough.
