Work as Designed
My husband and I both work from home since the pandemic. We had to convert our dining room to an office and because we have an open concept room, needed to find a solution for noise control. These work perfectly. They are nice looking and do mask some of the noise. Give them a try!

Looks great! Kind of expensive..
These panel quality is way better than I was expecting. They came packaged very well and took about two minutes to put up and was super easy thanks to the strong adhesive on the back. Im using them as a headboard to my bed since I don’t want a big heavy headboard. I haven’t noticed much sound difference but I’m hoping to buy more of these to make my “headboard” go up to the ceiling. Unfortunately they are pretty expensive so I won’t be buying more anytime soon. But I love how they look and how easy they were to just stick on and be done!

Make them work: Turn 4 into 1.
Pretty good for the $, the trick to get the most out of them is to stick 4 of them together (to actually work at absorbing sound) using the adhesive on the back and have the fabric facing out on both sides, then use a few heavy double lock velcro strips to mount to the wall so you can move them around, reuse them, and not tear all the paint off your walls. (Make sure you line them up right! no going back, tearing them apart will tear up the fabric !)

Does a good job.
Used in my husbands gaming room. Nice touch and it does make the room sound more acoustic. We plan on adding more panels later.

Eh. They’re ok.
Inconsistent stickiness. Wouldn’t repurchase, but they’re fine.

Very good sound dampener.
They work well as a sound reduction barrier. They don’t sound proof but they do cut down on sound intrusion. I used it as a complete wall covering so it has proven to be very effective. The are well made and easy to install. Packaging provided very good protection against damage. I have no complaints. And would recommend for what I used them for.

I Hear the Difference
I recently purchased a set of these panels for my bedroom. Before putting them up, I would be awakened by sounds outside before my alarm went off. Since placing them on the wall near the window. The outdoor noises are so much softer that I'm sleeping through the alarm most mornings. I'm a fan. The panels are self adhesive and with a little sustained pressure stay in place, and they look great on the wall.

These acoustic panels really do absorb sound quite well! And even though I don't have a recording studio, I have found that mounting a couple on the wall behind my fridge has greatly reduced the volume of the noise my fridge makes while running. It's also helped absorb the sound of my kids when they're being loud and I'm feeling overstimulated. They work well absorbing any unwanted sounds, really, and the applications are many. I've even used them more as a shield to absorb sound before it gets to me. They're very easy to put up, with the back being one giant sticker, though I have no idea how I'm supposed to get them off when we move one day.

I recently got these wall panels, and they're pretty awesome! The self-adhesive backing made putting them up super easy. No tools, necessary, just peel, stick, and done. And they stuck really well too the wall, no slipping or sagging. Not only do they look sleek with their fabric finish, but they also work incredibly well. They cut down on echoes and background noise, making it perfect for Zoom calls and even movie nights. What I love is how versatile they are. You can arrange them however you like to fit your space, and they blend in nicely with any décor. If you’re looking for an easy, budget-friendly way to improve your room’s acoustics, these panels are a solid choice.

These are not really for soundproofing, but they are great for stopping high frequencies from bouncing around the room. These are great for voiceover booths, home theatres and 2 channel listening environments. Placing these in the correct positions can dampen high frequencies that bounce off walls allowing you to focus on the sound coming directly from your speakers. This will potentially improve your ability to sense things like the size of the space and location of the various instruments in the recordings. These come in a few different colours to match your decor. They are very easy to install, and if you do a little research to figure out the best place to put them in your room I think you will be very happy with the results.

The packaging and branding on them were top-notch and does make it seem like you're getting it from a reputable company, specializing in acoustics. Albeit a box is a box and the product is what matters. This was a pain to install without using the adhesive backing included, as I am putting these up in a room not for permanent or long term, and wanted to keep the adhesive still usable. I guess it has no issues sticking, but I haven't tested the adhesive it comes with. They're thick, and even though no artwork on them, black does go fine with any room. Seems standard sound-absorption. I do wonder if there is less echo and reverb in my room, as I did a pre-test with audio recording. I did a clap test in the middle of my room, and inside of a closet for comparison which naturally has less echo and reverb, and and after test. Clap tests are reliable and recommended. This will not Sound-proof a room at all, or even reduce general background noise dB, and aren't intended to. Sound Absorption reduces echo and reverb, not sound proof. It can possibly make external noise bounce around your room less though. They are a bit pricey.

This 4-pack of 24" x 12" x 1" Acoustic Panels from BUBOS are quite good. They are made of 100% polyester inside and have a nice fabric covering on the outside. The fit and finish of each panel is consistent, and they also come with double-sided tape pre-installed on the back of each panel. If I ever decide to remove them, I choose to use my own 3M Command Strips for peace of mind. Most importantly, these panels work well for reducing the echo and providing a level of soundproofing; however, that certainly will depend on the size of your room and the number of panels required. I installed these panels with another set of 2" depth panels on the back wall of my home theatre area. Thanks to the reduction in unintended sound reverberation and echo from the rear of my room, they have improved the sound quality of my home theatre. While the panels are perhaps priced at a bit of a premium, they do work well, and perhaps you'll catch them on a deal. Based on my time installing, testing, and reviewing them, I recommend them if you want a set of panels.
