I accidentally ordered the version that didn’t come with a carrying case, but when I reached out they immediately sent me a free carry case at the same price—no hesitation, no hassle. I've been using the 7.5W version of this travel charger for the past year or so and have really enjoyed having it with me on trips. It's still holding up well, and I've had it on my night stand when I'm not traveling. When the new 15W version came out, I grabbed it to use on my office desk instead of my Belkin 15W charging puck. The ESR 15W charger works as advertised. My iPhone 15 Pro Max charges faster than the 7.5W version, and the speeds do match my 'official' Belkin 15W chargers. I've been waiting quite some time for Qi 2 chargers to be released; it's a good quality of life update. Very convenient to be able to charge my AirPods Pro and Apple Watch at the same time on my desk while I work. The space savings this charge provides compared to a traditional 3-in-1 is quite noticeable. The foldable form factor is useful if you only need to charge your phone. You can just collapse the stand and charge your phone flat. Likewise, the watch charger is detachable and can be used by plugging it into any USB-C adapter/charging port. It's easy to lose the magnetic lid/cap to the watch charger so be careful with it. Regarding magnet strength, the magnet strength of the watch charger is a little weak but adequate when charging a watch vertically on the stand. Magnet strength becomes less of an issue if you're charging a watch horizontally. I've never personally done so because I'm a bit concerned with the extra pressure on the USB-C port causing bending over time due to the weight of the watch. The magnet strength of the phone area and AirPods area is good. It sort of locks the AirPods in place, and the phone area is strong enough to support my 15 Pro Max with a dbrand Ghost/Grip case (which do not have strong magnets). Weight distribution with the 15 Pro Max on the stand is fine, there's no real concern with the charger tipping over. The build quality is good. The metal hinge looks very sturdy. I would recommend getting the version with the travel case, as there's quite a few moving parts and it's just nice to have everything together when traveling with the charger. It's a nice case, although I wish they didn't use magnets to keep the case shut. The design also makes the case a bit bulkier than it needs to be. My only minor gripe with the charging stand is the included watch charger. It definitely charges the watch slower than an official Apple Watch 5W charger (takes about twice as long to 100%). If you have an old Apple Watch that doesn't support faster charging, then you wouldn't notice the difference. But as someone who likes to wear their watch 24/7, I want to charge it for ~30 minutes a day when I shower and have it topped off. That's not possible with this watch charger. For travel, I still bring my official Apple Watch charger with me. My wife uses the ESR charging stand to charge her watch overnight, as she doesn't wear hers while sleeping like I do. I'm hoping with the the next version ESR will include a faster watch charger.

This charger is incredibly fast! It really is twice as fast charging both my iPhone and Apple Watch as my normal charging stand, which is much faster than Apple’s standard charger as it is! What I really wanted this charger for, however, was traveling. The fold-up, compact design is very convenient, especially when compared to the usual bag full of cords, bricks, and whatever other contraptions we need for travel for my phone and watch, not to mention my spouse’s! The travel case is also very handy and makes things easy. * I have to give special props, though, both to Amazon’s customer service, and to ESR for fixing my own mistake in ordering the wrong item. When I first shopped for this ESR charger, I found a myriad of different options available. However, in placing the order, I didn’t realize that I had ordered the Qi2 charger I wanted, but WITHOUT the travel case. Duh! When it arrived, I was on my way out of town for several days and never had a chance to even look inside the box. In short, after returning home, it was several more days before I “got around to it.” That’s when I discovered my mistake and was disappointed that I didn’t have the travel case. Now, this charger is just fantastic as is, and if you are aren’t planning to use it for travel, you certainly don’t need the case. If that’s your situation, save the extra $10 and order just the charging station. Unfortunately, however, I had missed Amazon’s return window. So I just decided to call Amazon and see if they could help. It took the agent a few extra minutes working with me on the phone, but he was very gracious and contacted the seller while I was on hold. They kindly allowed the return with no penalty at all, and no charge for return shipping via the local UPS Store. It could not have been easier. I received my refund right away, then turned around and ordered the same charging station with the included travel case - it just cost a few bucks more. Granted, I could have (and would have) used some other case, bag, or box… if I'd had to, but I like the one designed just for this charger and its peripherals. To both Amazon and ESR: thank you for being more helpful than was required!

Note there are two different powered chargers for sale here, 7.5 W advertised for Apple products, and a Qi2 advertised at 15 W, neither of which would be considered a “fast“ charger by today’s standards. I purchased a 7.5 W version which has performed flawlessly albeit at 7.5 W speed. So while it is not fast, it does not overheat anything being charged and I don’t have to take my phone out of the case, which I prefer. Magnet is plenty strong for my phone/case, unit is small and perfect for travel and it has worked flawlessly for me so far.

This is the perfect MagSafe charger. It folds up and fits into my tech bag so easily (it's perfect for travel!), the Apple Watch charger is such a great find that I'm surprised ESR doesn't sell it by itself, and the included cord is a great lenth to be able to plug it into your laptop and leave it juuuuust out of reach on Stand By mode. This is my first buy from ESR, and I can promise you this won't be the last.

I love this thing. You can tell that a lot of thought was put into the design. Folds up and packs nicely into a travel pouch, about the size of a small purse. And it's not just for travel - it's perfectly suitable as an everyday wireless charger on your desk. Standby mode works for iPhones when placed horizontally. The small cubby for charing AirPods is actually magnetic, which is a nice touch and ensures proper charging alignment. Even the cap for the Apple Watch charging adapter is magnetic to help prevent it from getting lost. Quality-wise, it does not feel cheap, nor does it feel premium; it's somewhere in the middle. Think Honda Civic. The only thing I don't love is that my Apple Watch Ultra gets quite warm when charging. This can happen with non-Apple certified puck chargers, so I'm not sure if this one is certified. Still, it works. All in all, this is a convenient and effective 3-in-one charging solution that is quite cost effective in comparison to much of the competition. It's a great way to unlock Standby Mode as well if you only have flat chargers.
