Great for the money
At $20 it's a good deal, but for the deal price they had at $10, it was a no brainer. I replaced them with the stock pickups in my ibanez. i really liked the character of the sound that those had, but they were too noisy. The Saphue pickups are pretty even sounding. Clear lows without being muddy, the highs are very tame, not shrill or icy at all and the biggest surprise for me was the note definition and clarity when you play chords with distortion. I give it 5 stars mainly for the value. I feel like It's better than "you get what you pay for" It may sound more like studio musician than rock god, but for the price I had low expectations and they ended up being better than I thought they would.

great pickups. great price.
put these in a knockoff les paul. really good sound. 15.4 (k ohm) in the bridge and 7.77 (k ohm) in the neck. no noise, very responsive for rock/metal/clean.

Great sounding pickups at a very low price!
Excellent sounding pickup at a fraction of the price of the big manufactures. I'm a tone chaser and these pickups do the job! If you are looking for a super hot (+15 ohms) then these are the pickups for you!

High hopes but fell a little short
So I've had some good luck with the Fleor pickups which are a cheaper option as well. I had high hopes for these and they're not terrible but if you're looking for a quality sound coming from a guitar regardless of your price range... you want to get the most for your money and I'm not sure that you're doing it with these. I put my volt meter on them mine rang out at 15.93 ohms so they are hot but the tone character of them is just a little off to me it doesn't sound very good to me. I tried it on high gain, compressed all the different settings that I know of and things that I use and I couldn't really get a tone that I would be happy with. I have a very similar guitar with tone Zone in the bridge and a paf 25th anniversary in the neck and the qualities of the two are very far apart. I'd say 20 bucks which is 1/5 of what it would cost for one of the dimarzio's so if you're not looking for anything but just a practice Throwdown guitar that you're not going to play anywhere or record live with or anything like that it's fine. But if you're going to put down some tracks play a live situation or be a little more nuanced I would go for something different. Especially if you want a solid metal tone. No I will add that the possibility is that I got something or set a pickups that was not quality controlled very well and they just didn't sound very good and it's very likely with some of these smaller companies or some of these cheaper companies that are pushing out these cheaper pickups but I can just tell you what I experienced.

Better than you would think.....
.....For the price...you can't beat these. Wax potted, impedance was within 2%, very balanced,no frequency more pronounced than any other. I'm going to get another pair just to swap the ceramic mags out for alnico 2's or 5's just to see what I get. Best bang for the buck p-ups I've bought so far. ....and every other guitar I have had DiMarzio's.......just saying.

Great pickups for the price
These aren't seymore Duncan quality, and they don't claim to be. But for what they are, and the price, they sound fantastic. I mostly play metal and boy do they fit the bill for that. The bridge pickup really shines, the neck pickup is kinda meh, but again, for the price, I can't complain.

Fait le travail mais il faut pas s'attendre au son d'un micro de qualité.
