It's perfect.
Forgot to review this. Bought this last year for my Nintendo switch for road trips. It held it perfectly and it was gentle on it. Put it in my new vehicle to mount it again. Great product. Very durable. Would buy again. :)

Built Tougher Than Don Cherry’s Suits
Alright, listen here, ya hosers. I’m 90 years old, full of Labatt’s, two knees made of duct tape and regret, and more love for hockey than my ex-wife had for bingo. I bought this Aluminum Heavy Duty Drill Base Tablet Holder 'cause I needed somethin’ to hold my iPad while I scream at the Oilers and Google "how to pickle moose meat." First off—this thing is built like a tank made of maple syrup and raw Canadian spirit. I drilled it into the wall of my ice fishing shack (after three beers and zero measuring) and it held strong like Carey Price in his prime. Didn’t even wobble. My buddy Steve leaned on it mid-rant about the Leafs—still didn’t move. I think it might be anchored to the Earth's crust now. Holds my iPad steady while I watch replays of 1972’s Summit Series and sob into a plate of poutine. I even used it in the garage while rebuilding the carburetor on my snowblower (I say "rebuilding," but mostly I yelled at it with a wrench). The holder? Didn’t care. Just held the tablet like it owed it money. Swivels, rotates, tilts—this thing’s got more moves than Gretzky in '87. You can adjust it however you want, even if your vision’s fuzzy from age or a little “hydration,” if ya know what I mean. Only downside? I installed it crooked 'cause I had a few too many Molsons. But it still works, so I just call it “modern art.” Would I buy it again? Absolutely. Might even mount one to my Zamboni. Maybe two. For balance.

Strong
This is used inside our Volvo semi truck. It holds an 11 inch pad that we use for directions and other work realized things. Excellent product, Strong hold

Top notch quality
A couple of things that I wish were better: the mounting base is a little small for the weight it has to carry when attached to my plastic dashboard, and the gripping power is not enough to prevent my tablet from slipping due to the vibration. The quality of the material exceeded my expectations.

Sturdy and easy to use
This works well to hold my 12" tablet while I play my instrument. It fastens easily to a music stand and can be positioned easily. It folds rather compact to stow in my gig bag.

Nice but...
Aluminum but a few steel components that could easily rust in a marine environment..
