Good locking mechanism, well made knife, rinse in fresh water after sandy water.
I had a Akona Talon titanium dive knife, the locking mechanism on sheath broke (thin weak plastic prongs that slid into handle). Contacted company and they sent me a replacement sheath, it broke even faster, even though I hardly used it, and knife fell into the water and lost it. So I was very careful about choosing a replacement knife. The locking mechanism on this knife feels secure, and doesn't look easy to break. Just in case, I attached a 1.9 mm line to it and my belt, do not want to loose this kife. Looks and feels well made. Will update after using it for a while. Update, I use this in sandy saltwater conditions, after several sessions noticed the locking mechanism started to stick in the partially open position. Rinsed in fresh water and locking mechanism worked smoothly again. So I just need to remember to rinse it off in fresh water like all my other gear. The titanium blade and hammer end were spotless, including the edge.

Built for the Deep—Reliable and Tough
I’ve taken the Saekodive Edge Series Dive Knife on multiple dives, and it’s seriously dependable. The titanium blade is incredibly resistant to rust and corrosion—even after repeated use in saltwater, it still looks and cuts like new. The knife features both a serrated and smooth edge, plus a wire cutter, which makes it super versatile underwater. The quick-release sheath and secure leg straps make it easy to access and carry, and the ergonomic rubber handle gives a solid grip even with gloves on. It’s clearly designed with real divers in mind—durable, safe, and ready for action.

A need tool for a Scuba Diver. A review that counts
I am a retired NAUI Scuba Instructor but not retired from Scuba diving I choose my equipment carefully . A divers knife isn’t to kill anything but as a tool should you need it eg caught up in fishing line My diving this time is mainly salt water and one tool you don’t want is a shinny one I used to have to smoke them black. This knife did everything I needed This is not a paid review You can ask me Questions

It is not rust resistant.
I bought this knife in JUNE. It is beginning to rust in JUL. I am in FL and use in the Gulf. I rinse cleaned with each use; however, I am now going to throw in garbage.

Quality of handle and holder are low quality plastic
I got the Titanium blade. Not sure about the quality. It’s mostly plastic. Don’t think it’s worth $75. The straps are not long enough to go around my thigh. Mostly got it for when I am out paddle-boarding alone in wild Florida alligator infested waters. They normally just run away but you never know if you might fall in on top of one. Would prefer the knife higher up on my thigh. Will update my review as I use it.

More Than a Dive Knife – A Tool That Could Save Your Life Anywhere
Okay… confession time: I’m not a diver. I’ve never even been diving. But I am a knife person – and when I saw this scuba knife with its rugged design, calf straps, and that button-lock sheath that absolutely will NOT let go unless you want it to, I geeked out hard and had to get it. At first glance, it’s a solid stainless steel dive knife – sharp, well-balanced, and with features that make it more than just a blade. You’ve got: A razor-sharp edge A serrated top edge A built-in line/wire cutter An adjustable calf/leg holster with rubber straps that actually stay put And the best part? The knife will NOT come loose unless you press the release button on the sheath. Zero worries about losing it. But here’s why I think this knife deserves more credit than just “good for divers.” On April 6, 2021, I rolled my ’96 Bronco XLT (nicknamed Ruby). I was upside down, bleeding, and trapped by my seatbelt. My beloved Smith & Wesson knife – the one I’d carried for years – was clipped to my right side. My left arm was injured and couldn’t reach it. I thrashed, panicked, and blacked out again from blood loss… only waking up because a stranger pulled me from the wreck less than two minutes before Ruby exploded into a fireball. And here’s the part that hit me when I strapped this knife to my calf tonight: If I’d had THIS knife on my leg that day – instead of my old one on my hip – I could’ve reached it with either hand, hooked the seatbelt into the cutter, and freed myself in seconds. That’s not dramatics. That’s reality. Yes, it’s marketed as a scuba knife. But this design has real-world, life-saving potential beyond the water. Think: First responders who need a reliable, always-accessible blade. Drivers who want a backup tool in case of a rollover, fire, or flood. Hikers, campers, or anyone who knows emergencies don’t announce themselves first. This isn’t just a “cool dive knife.” It’s a well-engineered emergency tool. If you’ve ever thought about how fast circumstances can turn – in a car wreck, out in the wilderness, or underwater – then you’ll understand why I’ll never look at this knife as “just for diving.” It’s staying strapped to my leg. Always. Because if life ever flips me upside down again, I want THIS knife within reach.

Good quality.
It is a rigid sheath, not rubber. Looks like a good system though. I like the button release method. Too many times on my old knives, I'd struggle to remove the cover with one hand and be busy with the other hand. One button and the knife is free. Seems like a quality knife too. I'm satisfied with my purchase. It will get a workout in Eleuthra in a couple of weeks. I'll update my review at that point.
