Good, comfy socks for diabetics or anyone
If you have circulatory issues or diabetes, these are the socks for you. They don't strangle your ankles and make marks on your lower legs, and they offer just the right amount of cushioning. And I've found they wear extremely well and hold up to many, many washings. They're made of 99% polyester, with just enough spandex to make them nice and stretchy. They seem to take care of moisture well, leaving my feet as dry as cotton socks. They're warm in winter and cool in the summer. Note that these are not compression or support socks, just nice and comfy socks for dress or casual wear. But if you need diabetes socks, or just don't like socks that are so tight that the tops leave marks on your legs, you'll enjoy these.

Very comfortable and not too tight
Ordered some Hanes socks for my husband for work. He's been wearing Hanes forever. He asked me if I had ordered a children's size. He said they were very hard to get on and extremely tight on his leg. He could not wait to get them off and had a very deep dent in his leg. I ordered two types of socks, looking specifically for not tight-- Gold Toe and Dr. Scholls. Both are now his new favorites. He said they are easy to put on, stay up all day and leave no dent on his leg. You get one more pair of Dr. Scholls than Gold Toe, but they are both good if "too tight" is an issue.

Fits bigger muscled legs correctly, doesn't consrict the calf but doesn't fall down.
When my legs and ankles became large as I put on weight, the old crew socks cut off circulation at the top of the sock, leaving an indentation in my calf. So I started wearing ankle length socks. I tried several "large size" crew socks, but they were not large for my big 14" shoe-length feet. Now, I've lost weight and with winter, wanted something warm above my ankle and so looked for large crew socks once again. Dr. Scholl's socks were just the right thing -- nice and long (up halfway on my calf), not tight but not falling down -- even after being washed. Perfect for what I wanted.

The best bang for your buck.
My diabetic father really enjoys how they feel on his feet, they're comfortable and versatile for his wardrobe. He mentioned that they were hard to keep in place while he work but other than that the support gives his feet a well deserved break. The only downsides are the washability and thickness, they are usually one of the first items to disappear after a couple of washes. Although where he is lives isn't cold, when it he goes other places, they are often the thing he least likes to wear, It's better to find something thicker if you're concerned about the cold. However, in most conditions this is likely the best bang for your buck.

Comfortable and durable.
I bought these for my dad. I purchased a package of four six months ago and he loved them. His birthday was in November, and these were #1 on his list! He told me that they “do not leave a mark” on his legs, that they are soft and have not lost the elasticity in six months.

Men’s 13-15 too small
I purchased the men’s size 13-15. I wear a size 13.5 shoe and have extra wide feet These socks are too small for me. The cuffs dug into my leg. These would be great if you had size 11 feet and skinny legs. They do seem to be a good quality socks.

Very comfortable
Love the feeling on my feet very comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was after a couple of washes it had a tremendous amount of lint on them. If I buy them again I recommend washing them inside out. Otherwise it's a great product
