These are exactly what I wanted and was expecting. An old school set of lights. I hate modern LED xmas lights. They are too harsh. The light colour is vile. I want lights that are cosy and relaxing and these delivered. The quality is fine. Much better than the other incandescent sets that are still for sale. Clearly there are plenty of people of have bought these and found otherwise but I didn't have any issues. Don't get me wrong, they are not amazing. And 15 years ago these would have been 1/2 the price in every garden centre, DIY store and supermarket across the country. But that is the price of progress. Don't forget why these went out of fashion and why LED is popular. Whilst rated for outdoors, it will not end well. They are NOT waterproof. The only reason they are safe for use outdoors is because of the low voltage. That will not stop the bulb connections from corroding. And when one bulb fails you will lose a whole chuck of 20+ bulbs. Unless you like taking each bulb out and spraying with WD-40.

Very happy with this set. It's 55m in length and built to a very high standard, with a 24V low-voltage transformer for safe operation outdoors and with pets. Cons are the lights aren't as bright as some other incandescent sets, although this is beneficial to increasing the lifespan of the bulbs. Not a deal-breaker though.

I have had to replace blown bulbs several times since I installed these lights the latest being Christmas night

Really nice and very good value

They are as you would expect a beautiful tungsten colour, but exceptionally dim compared to my other tungsten fairy light chains. If you use them over a fairly small area that's probably a good thing, so it all depends on how you want to use them. One 240-lamp chain makes a good spread over a 6ft tree, I would say. Out of the two sets I bought one has three faulty sections straight out of the box, and no spare bulbs in the box, hence only two stars.

Excellent quality and value for money

I was really pleased to find glass filament tree lights as I really don't like the LED lights. However there are a couple of things which has caused me to write this review. Firstly, the bulbs are so tightly packed that half a whole set didn't work. Even when I tried the main fuse bulbs and checking some of the lights, they would work. The second thing is that the wiring to each bulb is quite thick and heavy and not at all suitable for a tree, whether real or artificial. I did note that the power transformer was getting warm even as I was testing them. So that is a concern. Thirdly and lastly, although these are being sold as suitable for indoors I would say not at all. The weight (it weighs more than 3kg) would be too heavy for a domestic Christmas tree but for an outdoor one, it could be fine, but be careful of the transformer warming up. So these are going back which the very nice Mohammed arranged for me when I called customer service. Amazon for their part were excellent in dealing with my issue and I have no complaints there. Nice lights but sadly not suitable for home

A real find on Black Friday, a great quality set of lights, worked well all over the holiday season.

Nach Kauf direkt ausprobiert, alle Lämchen leuchten, an den Baum angebracht, ca 20 Lämpchen sind ausgefallen :-( Und wir sind sehr vorsichtig damit umgegangen, also nicht draufgetreten oder sonst was.

Wirklich gute und schön leuchtende Lichterkette. Manko ist sicherluch, dass am Ende das Kabel wirklich sehr dick wird. Geht dann nur innen am Baum.

Die Ware ist genau wie beschrieben, die Lierferung war sehr schnell! Vielen Dank, sehr zu empfehlen. Jederzeit wieder. Liebe Grüße
