Q: I am renting and the peel and stick tiles will have to be removed when I move out so I need to know if this will ruin the tiles under it?

To be durable enough to withstand foot traffic, FloorPops were designed with a strong adhesive. This means that they are NOT removable in the sense that our peel and stick NuWallpaper™ or wall decals are removable/temporary. They can, however, be removed should you choose to- we recommend using a scraper or an object with a thin, flat surface to wiggle under a seam and pop a corner of the tile up. From there you should be able to peel off the tile with your hands. Please note that as the adhesive is strong, if installed on a painted surface FloorPops™ are likely to lift the paint. It is also possible that some adhesive residue may be left behind when FloorPops™ are removed.

Q: Can you use it an laminate?

We do not reccommend installing FloorPops Peel and Stick Floor Tiles over laminate flooring. For best results, remove existing laminate prior to installing FloorPops.

Q: Can I use this on a painted concrete floor or do i need to remove the paint?

Check the manufacturers website. I don't think the product would adhere properly to painted concrete.

Q: Is this supposed to be thick like normal primer, or thin like water?

It is like like water, you paint it on with a roller. Personally, I don't think it did anything for my floor. I used as directed, it didn't make the tiles adhere well. I ended up using Gorilla Glue spray and that worked perfectly.
