Bad product!
This is terrible beef jerky. I would like to return it, but it is ineligible for return. I will probably just have to throw it in the trash! I would not recommend it to anyone! I am sorry this review made me put one star on it!

Loved the flavor bold and nice kick to it
The family loves trying different small batch, artisan made beef jerky. It’s slow-cooked, hand-strung, and hand-packed. We loved this jerky, it had great flavor and was spicy (not hot for us). There are 8 servings in a reusable bag.

It’s jerky!…
But you could also grab something very similar at the cash out of a old country store for less.

Way too salty
The jerky was way too salty!

Tough, too much teriyaki
This beef jerky was NOT appetizing. It was very tough and it seems like they used 2x as much teriyaki flavor as they should have. This made eating it in slab form pretty much impossible for me.

Emphasis on Slab!
Delicious balance of salty, smokey, and slightly sweet, and a great teriyaki jerky. My first slab jerky, with long pliable strips that are folded up in the packaging. They are soft for jerky, but still have a great chewiness. They are fairly tender, unlike some of the shoe leather simulating alternatives. My only complaint is that the heat-seal was below the tear tabs, and I had to find a scissors before I could dig in. The ziplock still keeps the jerky fresh, but I think it will be eaten before that becomes much of a worry. The ingredients are just right for a teriyaki jerky, without the sodium nitrate preservative I try avoiding. This is my new favorite jerky, and a great anytime snack.

Tough but Good
I liked the taste and texture of this a lot but $18 for half a pound of beef feels expensive. This makes me full after about a few pieces but there aren’t that many in it. The jerky is tough though, so it makes me full because it takes time to chew. I wouldn’t get this again because I wouldn’t be able to afford this though unfortunately.

Tastes Good
Is very good and you get these huge slabs of jerky like they put thin cut marinated steaks in the dehydrator. Well, actually, that's clearly what they did, lol. So I even tear them in half or thirds to snack on a piece. Jerky can be expensive so while I'm usually not going to spend that much on just one bag of a snack, it does seem a decent value considering what I said about quality and you do get a decent amount. I'd still consider getting again as a special treat or if it went on sale/had a coupon.
