I was using a stubby antenna on my Chieftain and the reception was poor at best. I didn't to run a full size antenna so when I found this one I was hoping it would work and to my surprise it worked great. It is perfect height wise and sticks out just above my hard bags. The reception is great and the stations are clear. Overall I am happy with the build quality and the performance.

I checked several FM stations prior to swapping antennas and could not tell a difference between them. Easy installation and I like the lower profile better than the long antenna.
