I picked up three of these Southlight HDMI cables recently to upgrade my work and gaming setup, needing something reliable for 4K content. Straight out of the packaging, the difference between these and standard plastic cables is immediately obvious; they feel substantial and well-made. The Good: • Build Quality: The construction is excellent. The connector heads have a metal finish (looks like aluminium or zinc alloy) that feels cool to the touch and premium, not like cheap plastic that might crack. • Performance: I’ve tested all three cables I ordered, and they all work perfectly with no signal dropouts or flickering. • Durability: The braided nylon outer layer is thick and feels like it will withstand a lot of wear and tear over time. • Secure Fit: The connectors plug in with a satisfying 'click' and don't feel loose in the ports. The Bad: • Stiffness: Because the braiding is so thick and durable, the cable is notably stiff. It is not easy to bend, which made it a bit of a struggle to manage the cables behind a TV that is close to the wall. Verdict: If you need a high-speed cable that looks the part and feels bombproof, these are excellent value. Just be mindful if you have a very tight space behind your TV cabinet, as you’ll need a bit of room to curve the cable.

I bought this Southlight HDMI cable in the 5-metre length for running from my gaming PC on one side of the room to my 4K TV on the other, as some games are just better on the big screen. Ran this cable from a new Samsung QLed. Utalised the HDMI eARC to the Sonos arc soundbar and worked perfectly and recognized the connection first time. Sound quality is great, very happy with the cabling.

Cable long et résistant, attention il et épais donc pensez au poids du câble, si votre TV et suspendue, prévoyez quelque chose pour soutenir le câble afin qu'il ne plie pas la prise dans la TV ! Si vous utilisez des maintiens de câble en scratch faites attention de ne pas mettre le gripp' côté câble sinon vous allez abîmer le revêtement du câble. C'est un petit détail qui pourrai être ajouter à la description car j'ai fait cette erreur. Pour vous donner une idée à gauche câble de taille standard et à droite le câble en question
