This beats the old style ice cream machine that requires adding ice and rock salt. It's super easy to use. Just add your ingredients and walk away. I've made more batches of ice cream since I bought this, than I have in the last 30 years combined!

We absolutely LOVE this machine. It was extremely heavy, came in a monster crate that took a while to open, and lifting it up on the cart (we bought that separately and is a must), but once it was up there we could get to work figuring it out. Warning: It is crazy tricky to figure out how to get it working properly without missing any of the pieces you have to configure with it, as the instructions are in multiple languages, we finally gave up and had a massive search online to find this exact version...but once past that, it is now running incredibly well. This may be the most popular piece of equipment we've ever purchased for a party, and we own nugget ice makers among other party fun items that most love, but this takes the cake. A little laborious to clean and shut down, but fires up easily and gets to task great and fast. We love it and if it wasn't so huge and heavy would by another one to take to other locations, but it is in our garage and won't be going anywhere soon!

I purchased the ICE2086BY. The machine won't worked. It would run for a total 16 seconds then go to the cool mode. The user manual is not very well written. It does not go into detail about the different functions. Searching the internet for any help was fruitless; very disappointed!!

Fantastic perfect custard and ice cream every time.

Makes great ice cream but it kept tripping our generator off during an event with our food vending trailer. The generator is 11,000 watts so there should be plenty of juice. The fluctuation of power draw when it's set for "soft" seems to cause this. A count down begins and trips off every 5 minutes. Annoying! When we set it to "hard" this didn't happen. (So far) (and the ice cream was fine) Also, there is not much room between the dispenser spout and front of the unit so I am unable to swirl a nice pretty stream of ice cream into a waffle bowl. The width of the bowl impedes maneuvering. I had to serve it in a random wild pattern in the bowl. Lol

This is sooooooo yummy n fun!!! I tried the instructions that was a joke. Made no sense.This is fairly simple I googled it.2 cups heavy cream 1 cup milk 3/4 cup sugar1 tbsp vanilla extract pinch of salt combine in a separate mixing bowl whisk together. This recipe will fill the machine to fill line 2 times. If you want chocolate add 1/2 cup coco powder.Easy peasy fill to fill line in machine turn on 1 hour bam you have what I just showed you.You can use sweet condensed milk instead of heavy cream. It will be more shake like texture. Still yummy. But you will need to adjust the sugar with the sweet condensed milk. Google was my best friend for this machine on recipes.The photos show what I've made. In 2 days. Lol. The recipe for vanilla as you see the container is full plus I had some in a coffee mug.The chocolate was from yesterday made with sweet condensed milk. Tastes creamy but I think it's imo best use same day. As you see in pictures of chocolate ice cream. Yesterday as I said it was more a shake consistency.. it did though harden. This is not the same kinda hard ice cream you buy in any brand of any flavor. No freezer burn, tastes way creamer like a bad ass shake but thicker like ice cream n it kinda I think melts a bit faster so you can make ice cream soup. If anyone ever did as a child. I love love love it. It better last a while. Oh back to back on using the machine will cause the bowl to make ice cream kinda freeze in in let it melt n remove. I wonder what other fun flavors I'll make next ! Fun, fun, fun, yum, yum, yum !!!!!!!! Grand babies watch out !!!

I was trying to upgrade from the ones you need to freeze the canister. I have many years making my own ice cream and I was really disappointed at this machine.First of all, it is falsely advertised for making 3 different kinds :gelato, icing and ice cream, because, although it has 3 squares with pictures of each kind, it only makes ice cream,period.Not only that but the consistency of the ice cream is not good at all even running for the entire 60 minutes cycle and you can not make it run again.Once it stops, you can not make it run again with the same cream on it.So I returned it because paying almost $140 just to avoid the canister freezing and not even getting a real ice cream consistency,never mind no other kind, it does not worth it to me.

The media could not be loaded. You'll need to read and reread the operating instructions. (Maybe write down the steps so you don't forget like I did and had to figure it out all over again.) Appears it was translated from another language for the European market. Once you figure out how to set time and hardness level then it's a go.Stick to any recipe with a total of 3-4 cups of liquid. More than that and the mixture will expand over the metal bowl necessitating extra clean up.Check ice cream at the 20 minutes mark. One batch I made with pureed strawberry froze up quickly and the machine stopped working. Too thick to move.Cleans beautifully and is fairly quiet as demonstrated in the video. Well made and worth the purchase price!
