In our previous kitchen we had an old-fashioned wooden draining rack above the sink, and I was determined to find an equivalent, but one which could be concealed within a kitchen cabinet when not in use. This has proved to fit the bill. As you install the two “shelves” separately, you can decide for yourself how much height you want between them (although it is a good idea to leave enough space for a hand under the lower shelf to allow you to wipe the bottom of the cabinet, just in case of any stray drips. As can be seen in the photograph, I have taken to putting a teacloth on the bottom shelf of the cabinet, but frankly it is hardly necessary; the drip tray seems to catch pretty well everything. What impresses me is the sturdiness of the design. As can be seen from the photograph you can stack heavy dishes and cooking pots – the top rack even happily takes the weight of a full-size cast-iron casserole dish and lid. I have now been using this product for nearly a year and altogether I am very pleased with it. I thought it deserved a review from a genuine user after a decent period, rather than just a “first look” review. Hope it’s helpful.

Quite nice product. Easy to fit in the cupboard. I don’t want to use it for wet crockery as I’m not sure how you’d keep the water from dripping out of the cupboard, perhaps some tray at the bottom. It’s nice for storing the plates and cups for easy access. Looks tidy and neat. Don’t stack it too full though, or with all your heaviest plates as I’m not convinced it would hold really well with a full tray. Still, happy with it so far.

Adjustable length and good material

Just what I needed. Good quality and easy to install.

Very sturdy and substantial. Bough to replace another make which went rusty very quickly. Note that its important to not have a base in your cupboard as the base tray of this unit does not have side edges on it at the ends and drained water can flow over if in sufficient quantity.

After few months using got rust. Good Idea but the quality wish be better.. Definitely not stainless steel .I thought replacing but £50 definitely much too much for what it is.

Je ne regrette pas mon achat ! Il y a des années que je pense en poser un car je connaisait cet égoutoir sur meuble vu en Espagne et en Italie. La pose est facile. Moi perso, j'ai un lave vaisselle et je ne poserai pas d'assiettes, du coup je n'ai pas besoin de plus d'espace en hauteur. Je vais poser par securité une barre de maintient devant et derrière, dommage qu'ils ne vendent pas les barres avec l'égoutoir. Attention, avant de percer, bien s'assurer que les charnières ne gênent pas, car moi j'ai dû baisser l'égoutoir de 5mm. L'ensemble semble robuste. Après avoir changé mon évier par une grande cuve, je n'ai plus besoin du plateau, l'eau tombe directement dans l'évier. Je suis ravie car maintenant j'ai plus de place sur mon plan de travail.

Queda perfecto en el armario. Se ve fuerte y fácil de instalar.

Es fuerte y mucha capacidad. Este era el de 80cm. Hay que hacer los agujeros del armario mas grandes, del 10, para poder anclarlos y eso se complica si no tienes la herramienta que toca. Yo tuve que hacer unos para el de abajo y nivelarlo era aun mas difícil. Los agujeros por defecto los tenía altos y si lo subia mas, no llegaba y perdía mucho espacio en el armario ya que arriba del todo hay otra estanteria. La calidad de momento bien, inoxidable.

pratique et esthétique mais j'ai eu un problème à l'installer dans un meuble Ikea classique de 80 cm car l'égouttoir est trop long est même avec les vis de réglage au minimum c'était très difficile de le faire rentrer
