Looks insubstantial, but works fine
I bought this to mount my iPhone on my windshield so I could use it as a dashcam and for navigation. I clamp the iPhone into an iStabilizer tripod mount, and mount it to the Intova. Despite its seemingly insubstantial appearance, this mount holds the iPhone very steadily and solidly. The iPhone hardly moves. The suction cup holds tightly, and the joints give me sufficient flexibility to mount the iPhone at a good angle for shooting video through the windshield of my CRV. It's also thin enough that it doesn't block too much of my view. Seems to work pretty well. I'd recommend it.

Product not what is pictured DO NOT ORDER with out reading this!
Thought I had ordered a mount with three knuckles as the picture shows. it came with only two knuckles. Returned and re-ordered thinking it was a mistake. Second one came and the same thing. If you read the other posts, this is the reason that it only holds a "small camera", The product pictured could hold a very large camera due to the third knuckle but with only two it just does not work. The camera will hit the wishield and point downwards. DO NOT ORDER!

Poor design
It only works with very flat mini cameras do to poor design of the arm. I playd with it at diiferent angles but no luck.It will work only in cars with straight windsgield , trucks, some jeeps etc.Will return my today

Worthless.
I bought this along with their Sport HD II camera, but the suction cup isn't even strong enough to hold it. It will seem strong at first, then a minute later just fall off, which caused me to almost lose me new camera the first day I got it.Also as others have said what you see ins't what you get. They show three joints the one you get only has two.
