If you have a pond and walk up to it one day and suddenly see green water - check your UV lamp! ALSO check your wattage! I had mistakedly used a lower watt bulb that burned out quickly - These are not cheap - so getting the appropriate one is vital. Even for a novice like me, do your research - its worth it when you have that beauty in your midst looking clear and beautiful. Best value - purchase on line and save BIG!

Unfortunately the light didn't work. Maybe the integrated transformer is the real problem. The light was so expensive I have decided to give up and buy a separate UV Clarifier. A much less expensive strategy.

Tut was sie soll. Da stand darin das man sie jedes Jahr wechseln sollte was ich zuvor nicht wusste. Mir wurde gesagt 10 Jahre hält die locker. Von wegen. Die Neue eingebaut und das ergebnis war viel besser
