I have become quite keen on Matrixyl as an ingredient in skincare and find it suits my combination mature skin well. After cleansing and toning my skin, I wait for my skin to dry then apply a few drops to my fingertips and gently massage the serum into my face, neck and decollete. I do this twice a day. Again I wait until the serum is dry before adding moisturiser and sunscreen on top of it. I find it is a non-greasy serum that sinks well into my skin. I like how hydrated it makes my skin feel and I will be waiting to see if longer term use gives me any of the benefits mentioned in the listing. In the meantime, I am happy with the moisturised and slightly plumping effect I am getting although it is hard to state if this is down to this particular serum or a combination of products.

This serum really surprised me, I didn’t expect too much from it but it is now my go-to serum in the morning and I always take it with me when I go to the pool - I love the hydration it gives my skin m, which it really needs after being exposed to the pool water. It absorbs quickly and leaves a nice film, it layers great with other skincare and makes my skin feel and look moisturised nad soft. I love the packaging, the glass bottle with dropper is my favourite way of applying serums, the bottle doesn’t leak, no issues with the dropper either. I will re-purchase this product soon, as used nearly the whole bottle now. Worth the money and great quality.

The bottle has a pipette for dispensing the clear serum and the serum absorbs quickly and easily into your skin without leaving any residue. I like that this serum also contains hyaluronic acid alongside the peptides for hydration. Overall im pleased with this serum and look forward to seeing the results with continued use.

The clear serum is dispensed with a dropper and is quite a gloopy/syrupy texture while having a thin watery feel while being rubbed in. It is unscented. I tried some on the back of my hand - one drop took a while to rub in so I use the back of my other hand to rub onto both hands. My skin remained slightly sticky and shiny for a further few minutes. The shine eventually went but a slight sticky feel remained for a good while. As a little goes a long way I used one drop spread between my fingertips to try some on my cheeks. I got a slight tingly feel on application and as with my hands, the serum took a while to absorb. Too early to tell what benefits can be derived from this serum, I will update in due course.

Lovely, light, anti-ageing serum with hylauronic acid. Easily absorbed and makes my skin feel glowing and hydrated. Comes in a nice glass bottle with dropper too. Great quality ingredients. £13.29 at the time of review which I think is reasonable for this sort of skincare product. Highly recommended.

So far I'm still using it and it feels good testing it on my skin, I've had no adverse reactions of course coming from this type of product you would not really expect that. My skin is more hydrated applying this before a moisturiser, and I'm happy with the dispensing style, making it easy to target the areas you want and control how much volume you want to use.
