Victoria & Albert Museum William Morris Recipe Box

This is an adorable little recipe box. The pictures really don't do it justice. I love the recipe cards and the dividers are little works of art. It is too bad the matching binder is out of print as I'm sure it would have been great to have the set. On the bottom of the recipe box it says that there are free printable pdf card refills available at Galison.com but I went there and could not find them. So I emailed customer service and sure enough they sent me a link to the pdf. I couldn't be happier! The box is not very big at about 5"tall, 61/2"wide, 3"deep. But it will suit my needs fine. I can't wait to start filling it up!

This recipe box has so much charm! I didn't use it as a recipe box, but as a way to hand out a few assignments. The box would be displayed outside the door, and as people arrived they would check for their assignment under the first letter of their last name. It really worked well, and the girls loved it. I'd also recommend this for storing recipes, if you still hand write them on a card the box comes with the cards.

This is lovely! I wish I had looked at the customer photos to see the cards; many cards with these boxes are loaded up with graphics. Or I didn’t realize it had cards, so I ordered some and I like the cards in the box better! I just filled one out with an 05 Micron pen (less apt to run) and it was a nice surface to write on. My husband has his mom’s vintage “Ohio” tin recipe box with the lobsters and graphics. I had a group of recipes I downloaded, cut my card to 3 1/5 x 5, and they still wouldn’t fit! So dang small, how did ladies read the recipes, unless they cut them out from Good Housekeeping! Most of ours are folded and stuffed in there anyway. So I started searching. Yes, this box is not tin, but the hinged lid is what I wanted and I couldn’t find a tin one like that except the same vintage small ones on Etsy. Not a clunky wooden one or one with a lid that separates. I read reviews of a few I was tempted to get (thank you people!) and decided this was it. Yes, if you’re worried, coat it with Mod Podge.

The recipe box itself was beautiful and made a very nice presentation. There were several dividers to separate your treasured recipes. However the recipe cards included, we’re bland and boring. This was a Christmas gift for a friend of mine who complemented my recipe box and I thought I would treat her to one of her own. She love the box but now is on the hunt for prettier recipe cards.

Bought this for a bridal shower for guests to write recipes for the bride. The box is very cute and the recipe cards are perfect. I like the layout of the recipe card and they are perfect for having different people write recipes as there is a line for who the recipe is from. The category dividers that come with the box are also great and look very nice.

I purchased this for my daughter as she wanted a recipe box. She had actually given this same box to me as a gift a couple years ago. When I was looking for one for her I wasn't seeing any in the stores that I liked. So, I searched on Amazon and to my surprise I found the exact same style recipe box as mine! It is so pretty and she was tickled to receive it. I knew she would like it since she had picked out the same one for me. I like the recipe cards that come with the box. And the dividers are a nice feature too. Keeps your recipes in good order to easily find.

The most perfect recipe box you could ask for! It has enough space to store all of my favorite recipes & even host the beautiful & functional recipe cards & dividers. I absolutely love this whole set. A great product for those who love the gorgeous & classic floral design, but are pragmatic enough to want a good organizational tool.

This recipe box is very pretty and exactly what I expected. The only advise I would give anyone looking to purchase this, prepare to wait. As advertised it took more than a month, I placed the order Oct. 21, was promised arrival by November 29. It arrived November 25, I knew this ahead of time. I am pleased and would recommend this product. I will definitely order this again; it makes a very nice gift.
