Hidden Hogwarts: Scratch Magic (Harry Potter)

Perfect gift for my 8 year old niece who loves Harry Potter and art. She was thrilled to get this as a gift and couldn't wait to use it. She has had a lot of fun with this scratch art book

I bought another HP book similar to this, and it kept my 6 yr old grandson occupied nonstop. He worked on it at the kitchen table, then he brought it along in the car. He had the whole book used up in a couple of days. He could draw nonstop, so I wanted to give him something a little bit different, but still about drawing. Previously I got him the creatures version, and I’m sure he’ll like this one just as much.

My kids LOVED this book, but I felt like I needed to keep a window open because the off-gassing or whatever is pretty bad. It can't be good to breath that in. I let it air out in the garage a few night, but smell still lingers. Is there anything the manufacturers can do to improve that?

My 2- and 4-year olds both loved this book so much I ordered several copies! They love using these books on airplane trips and even just bus rides to/from school. They love scratching the black coating to find the pictures underneath. We've tried other similar books and the wooden pencil just doesn't work as well - like it's not enough friction to scratch the black coating off. Also THIS book has a great rubber band on the side whereas other books have awkward plastic seals at the top. This Harry Potter book (and the Secrets of the Dark Arts one and the Fantastic Beasts one) are the golden Go-To treat when I need to keep my kids entertained.

My daughter is a big Harry Potter fan. She loves all the colors that you get from scratching off the black and she enjoys the little activities inside of the book. Good buy in my book for the price.

This scratch book is a great find. Perfect for beating boredom, especially on road trips!
