King Arthur Baking Company Gluten-Free Scone Mix 12 oz., Breakfast Mix, Non-GMO

I always use King Arthur gluten free pancake mix and love it over the regular mix. Pancakes are light and fluffy. The scones were perfect. I shaped them like a ball and flattened a little. I got 6 scones. I added lots of orange rind and walnuts, sprinkled sugar on top. Baked in a large stainless steel skillet with parchment paper. I had them right out of the oven. I sent some to my neighbors in the apt. Complex I live in and they were raving about them also.

I purchased this baking mix for a special event where one of the guests needed to eat gluten-free. I wanted to ensure she had something delicious to enjoy, and since I’ve had positive experiences with King Arthur products in the past, I trusted their gluten-free line would deliver the same quality. I chose this mix specifically because it came highly rated and included a suggestion to add blueberries on the back of the box, which I thought would add a nice touch. The preparation process was incredibly simple—just follow the directions on the box, and you're good to go. Everything was clearly laid out and easy to execute, even for someone who doesn’t bake often. I decided to follow the recommendation and folded in fresh blueberries before baking. Once they came out of the oven, I couldn’t resist tasting one myself. As someone who bakes frequently, I make it a point never to serve anything I wouldn’t eat personally. I was genuinely surprised—in the best way. The texture was soft, and the flavor was impressive for a gluten-free product. While you can tell it's gluten-free (as the texture is just slightly different from traditional baked goods), it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. The blueberries were a perfect addition, adding bursts of flavor and moisture. Overall, I was very pleased with how they turned out, and most importantly, our gluten-free guest was thrilled to have a tasty option available. I would absolutely purchase this mix again, either for similar occasions or even just to have a gluten-free treat on hand.

We love King Arthur in our house! I needed a confetti cake mix for my son’s birthday and was so happy to see that King Arthur had one. The instructions are so easy and the cake was so yummy. Even the non-gf people loved it. Total win!

This mix exceeded my expectations. So easy to make and they were tastier than the standard flour scones. So fluffy and rich in flavor. I'll definitely make them again!

Anything I buy from King Arthur for gluten free baking/cooking is delicious!! No one can tell these are gluten free. Love adding raisins and the drizzle recipe for on top is a nice added splurge if sweetness

WOW! MERLIN MAGIC! I improvised, so I'm actually rating myself, but none of it is possible without this mix! It's the foundation. It easily withstood my concoction. I added room temp butter, splash of 2% milk, one serving 5.3 oz of triple zero berry Oikos yogurt, palm full of: raisins, salted roasted sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, whole fresh-frozen round cranberries, ten blackberries from my yard bouquet, 3 packets of C&H sugar, 3 carbs each. One each, large tablespoon of apricot & raspberry preserves, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, one egg...mixed it all in one bowl. Spread out into 12" round cake pan, lightly prepared coconut oil, baked at 375⁰ 18 minutes in toaster oven. My goodness! I'm now a self-anointed pastry chef. It's so delicious. Better than toast & jam, biscuits, cookies, cake, doughnuts, brownies, turnovers, etc. No after-taste, not too sweet. Wholly satisfying. Did not refrigerate. After two days, cut into pizza wedges and froze. I'm buying 8 more boxes. Will be experimenting with cinnamon, dates, even savory concoctions. I have discovered the holy grail of scones. You can thank Hallmark's Christmas in July movies for initially whetting my appetite. Scones were a constant prop.

As someone who is gluten intolerant this mix hit the spot. I added some blueberries and had some wonderful breakfast treats for days.
